MX is the best. Been with Linux for over 21 years. I started out with Simply Mepis which was a distro before Ubuntu appeared into the picture. Funny thing the same developers that created Simply Mepis are the same developers doing MX. So it's like I went full circle with Linux. MX has a great built-in manual to able to use their distro with ease. Don't forget to check out all those MX Tools as well.

Excellent video. I highly recommend trying Garuda Linux KDE Dragonized Edition-it truly stands out from the usual, monotonous desktop environments. This OS is a visual masterpiece, offering a unique blend of stunning aesthetics, exceptional performance, and robust security. For gamers, there’s even a dedicated gaming edition! .I use Garuda as the primary operating system on my desktop, and having explored all the major Linux distributions, none have captivated me like this one. Its unparalleled design and powerful features make it impossible for me to switch back to any other distro.
If you’re looking for an extraordinary Linux experience, I urge everyone to give Garuda KDE Dragonized Edition a try. It’s a league of its own-both beautiful and powerful.

I used MANDRAKE way back in the day. That distribution has evolved. Mandriva and now Mageia. Easy install. RPM software management is easy.

A video that came at just the right time. I feel that with Windows I end up having more disadvantages than advantages and was thinking about migrating to Linux, but I didn't know where to start.. Well, Mint and Zorin caught my attention... I just hope I don't have to go back to Windows. 😅

I could not agree more I was hesitant to switch to Linux now I am actively pursuing it... I will not go to W11 no matter the cost.

The first OS seen in your video is Nitrux which doesn't even feature in your list. It doesn't get a mention so why show it? I installed it a few days ago and it looks nice but there were no minimize or maximize buttons on windows and it wasn't as intuitive as I'd have liked. I'm using Zorin at the moment.

Reasonable list. I would move Pop!_OS to the second spot personally.
Only beef here is that all of the options presented are Debian / Ubuntu derivatives. Would have been nice to see at a least one with a package manager that's not apt.

Without knowing it, I have become a distro hopper. I try all the Debian derivatives because it's the one I feel most comfortable with, in short, I always end up on Pop Os. It is by far the most aesthetic and reliable.

I downloaded the iso, but couldn't get the live demo to recognize my usb drive for install. Odd because I could browse the usb drive.
