Great video! For health food and organic veggies, i have found that the best option is to look for local or regional produce box/basket where you get to customize your veggies and fruit and eat seasonal stuff, and complement with non organic veggies from the store if needed (that’s just what works for me). The produce basket also makes me try so many fruits and vegetables I have not had before and experiment with new recipes! I use fresh harvest, i live in Georgia, i have used misfits before and another local collective market

I know you have probably gotten roughly 1,000 skin care recommendations, but I have to say that switching to IT cosmetics foundation and OSEA Malibu skin care saved me!! I struggled with topical clogs and not hormonal acne as well and these were game changers. IT cosmetics has never clogged my pores. Which is a first for me ever. Someone also mentioned Paula's Choice aha bha exfoliant and I also recommend that! Hope you are having a great day!

I’m a nutrition major and in many classes I’ve learned that organic isn’t always what it’s cracked out to be. There are still some pesticides and techniques that are allowed in organic farming. The one strong positive is that many organic farms are smaller/family owned and therefore benefit more from people paying for their products. For me, I try to go by the dirty dozen rule but as a broke college students it’s also not always feasible for me to buy organic.
I also think in the long run it’s more important to focus on buying products that make your body feel good versus focusing on if it’s organic or not. Choosing a nonorganic vegetable to snack on over a bag of hot Cheetos is still going to be “better”, even though it’s not organic.

Hello, I am going into Functional Medicine and I have the MTHFR genetic mutation, so I eat really healthy because my body does not detox well. All that said I eat almost 100% non processed, refined sugar free and gluten free. I would say definitely eat organic grass fed meat and wild caught fish and stick to the dirty doused list for organic foods. Every step you make in the direction of bettering your diet and lifestyle will pay off for you and your kiddos. Also books I recommend are Dirty genes, Brain food, and Deep Nutrition😊

I studied health wellness and nutrition and I think that it is 100000% worth it to buy organic, grass fed, and free range of anything when you can. Pesticides and antibiotics are scary stuff. Especially when it comes to hormone health. That being said, if someone doesn’t have access to those options any veg and health proteins are better than none!

I always buy the “dirty dozen” list of fruit and veggies organically. There’s certain fruits and veggies where organic doesn’t make much of a difference-like things with a peel or hard shell (avocados, bananas, melons etc).

Its worth going to a farmer's market or having a CSA share, but in the agriculture industry "organic" doesn't have the most uniform standards. There's a pretty good book called Animal, Vegetable, Junk that talks about the history of agriculture and how its changed and some effects thats had on our environment and health

On the topic of organic foods, the overall scientific consensus is that it doesn't really matter health wise and if the higher price would make someone eat less produce, then they better stick to conventionally farmed foods! 😊 Also a great exfoliant especially for oilier skin is salycylic acid, the paula's choice aha bha is a popular choice 😊

Personally, I think there is a difference between organic and non organic. However, I don’t think it’s worth it to spend more money in certain food just because they are organic or not. Once I saw a video, maybe from business insider, that explains what it makes the product organic or not and if it’s worth it or not. It was really interesting. Never the less, like many others said, we still can make healthier choices and have balance regardless if it’s organic or not.

Just some food groups, like beef, pork, poultry & dairy some fruits & vegetables, not all, like imo bananas are ok not organic, however berries definitely organic, pineapple not so much. I definitely wouldn't spend my whole grocery on organic products

You look so strong 💪🏼 it’s obvious you’ve been working out and getting stronger. Also LOL at your man looking at you as soon as you said “I think this is too short on me”

I used to use rose hip + vitamin e oil on my skin every night ! Loved it. Only need like 2-3 or 1-2 drops though, def one of my first mistakes using them 😂

Hi 😍 I think you went to a very amazing holistic esthetician and all these oils she recommended are amazing. I love rosehip oil because it helps with blemishes and hyperpigmentation. The argan oils is beautiful and nourished your skin. You will love it. When you buy oils, get them pure and organic, it makes a huge difference. And answering you question about grass fed / organic meat.. yes!!!!! It is higher quality meat, tastes better and does not have all the hormones and best stuff. It’s healthier and worth it :)

Things like glycolic acid, lactic acid and salicylic acid can be really great for acne and clearing out clogged pores! You can get them all from the ordinary for a good price 😊
