B58 has issues now days too, plastic part in oil pump causing issues more and more.. plastic oil filter housing at back of engine takes 8 hours to replace..but overall it is better 😂
@@17t135itbf I can remove the whole engine and replace in less time than that. But the engines is on 120k with original injectors and plastic oil filter housing. I guess time will tell.

na not really depends on the variant of the b58 tbf, but the cooling housing is mostly plastic like material so i guess you have a point too, but most of the ppl ik with tuned b58s have not had a single fault at all

The e92 was such a stunning model. It was such a shame the n54 was so unreliable. The b58 suits it so well!
It's not unreliable if you change everything bolted onto the engine 😀

b58 to the world and back.Watching this and seeing what the guys in america are doing with the b58 makes me appreciate my 240i more and more.

The light voyage fault you’re getting on the GTD is usually due to aftermarket LED bulbs just a heads up so I wouldn’t be concerned. Great video

it’s the new n54 with it’s hundreds of coolant leaks but cool flex. 💪.
