Chester Williams - Champion of a New South Africa

Chester Williams is a South African legend. He was one of the stars for South Africa in the 1995 Rugby World Cup and he made his presence felt with outstanding performances throughout the year.
He scored some great tries for Western Province, The Cats and the Springboks in a career that spanned the 90's.

South African rugby is brutal, physical and absolutely gorgeous..their rivalry with NZ is definitely among the greatest in world sport! Of the 9 world cups that have been played..8 have been won by Southern Hemisphere teams. Keep the vids coming brother.. I was only a little boy in Tonga when I watched Stransky pull off the drop kick heard around the world..I’ll never forget it!!

Thanks for this vid. Chester was one of the best. An excellent finnisher but what I liked the most about him is that he never let the opposing wing by. He was a master defender.
