    I bought it awhile back for my suburban. I added the mass backing and laid mine in the sun. It came out awesome. Sorry you jaded bad luck.

    If you'd follow the instructions, you would have a perfect carpet. You got no mass backing and did not let the carpet relax. I just installed mine in a 2001 Tacoma, and it is absolutely perfect.You also need to remove the old carpet, and use it as the form (during the relaxing process) to match the fit. The cutting is minimal but you want that, so that the fit is perfect.

      Sorry there was no "instructions" that's pretty funny. There was no way to know that this supposed "mass backing" was only only way to get a nice fit and lastly we have your declaration that you bought this carpet and the fit was perfect. lol ya ok. Did I mention that a professional just might make it fit ok but regardless it's still crap carpet.

      Curtiss Harris lol...they provide two full length videos at the time of purchase on their website. If you’d watch them , this carpet would have worked. I had never replaced a carpet ever, and my project came out better than the factory carpet I replaced.. just saying...

      @@blakegore6030 I'm going to call bullshit. I bought the best grade carpet these guys sell except but without the mass back. At the time there were no videos and the carpet came with no instructions. I had previously installed carpet from these same guys on a 91 Yukon and while time consuming it went down nice, and looked ok but not as good as the factory. IN fact it faded out from grey to a weird blue in a few years. Now I have this carpet and the pile isn't as nice and the the foot pad isn't as nice and the Carpet is all wavy and wonky and the back is broken as I showed there's no way at all that it's even close too as good as my OEM carpet not a chance that is unless you say so of course.

      @@curtissharris8914 Don't know what to tell you - I have installed it now in three of my used cars and it works like perfect. ?? You are obviously TH-cam savvy...they list three youtube videos when you purchase the carpet that show how it is to be installed. I guess it's possible what you received wasn't great, but I have received three different carpets for three different cars and all worked as advertised.

    i was a floor cover for 38 years first the mass backing has nothing to do with anything it would be harder to flat in out with the mass back you must let the carpet rest out of box for 24 hrs you can use a hair blower on high hot on the backing to help it out on the back and use hot water on the back in the bad spots only if it was molded it would have come in a lot better shape i going to tell how to fix it if what i said don't work you buy carpet glue and glue all the carpet down but first pick up the old one LOL

    you didn't get the mass backing, you cant complain about it having those creases and not molding correctly, theres a reason the mass backing is like $60 bucks more. just my 2 cents.

      Ok maybe, and lets also say a professional might make it look pretty good, but I don't see how I could have know that when I ordered it. Thanks for the change.

      So you are saying the mass backing eliminates that issue? I am curious. I am about to buy for my police vehicle and DO NOT want that lumpy shit. The money is not an issue. Thanks!

    I got a vinyl floor for my 2000 Ram from the same company, and, though the vinyl itself was ok, the jute underlay in the box appeared to be just whatever the hell scraps they had laying around and the vinyl was way overpressed so that the molded bits were way too high over the bits they were supposed to fit around. See my video: th-cam.com/video/9slZkSuxLMs/w-d-xo.html

    Did you really install this new carpet over the oem carpet? Did you not remove the old carpet first?

    • @curtissharris8914
      @curtissharris8914  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did not install it at all I didn't like it but the upholstery place said no problem that's how they do it. What I did was separate the jute from the OEM carpet so I could wash the carpet and dry it. It looked pretty good so it's back in the truck for now.

    Not sure if the mass backing makes a difference but if I received a carpet in the condition that's being displayed I would take pictures like the guy is doing and notify the manufacturer, get an RMA number and return it. Of course I would have purchased it with my credit card and if the manufacturer wouldn't refund my money I would then requested a charge back from the credit card and with the pictures that we see it would be no problem in getting the credit card company to take your side and not charge you for the carpet. That's said I did view the site the other day and they had multiple videos explaining how to install these carpets which were very old so I'm sure they've been around a while.

    • @curtissharris8914

      There's a couple of videos of guys who used ACC carpet have what appears to be excellent results. If you look at how they did it one guy says he put eight pieces of extra backing under x spot and used spray glue and what not to get it right. So any way clearly I don't have the patience to mess with this so I bought some used OEM carpet in really good shape for 200$. Boom fits like it's meant to.

      @@curtissharris8914 Not sure if you are still following the comments on this video, where did you end up getting used OEM? I like the sound of that, but was it a junkyard or something? The dealer wanted $1,000 bucks for it :(
