I just picked my ZR2 last friday. What a cool truck. I have wanted a ZR2 since the S-10s of the 80s. In my early 50s now and I finally own one. No regrets. The Cherry red is what I have. I hope that others enjoy this truck as much as I do so far. Enjoy it my friend!

I don’t overland or off road. I dont tow or haul stuff. But this is a bad ass pick up truck. I’ve wanted a zr2 since the early 2000s. Love this truck. Might have to trade in the Jeep.
For a 2021 at $50k the interior seems ridiculously dated. Obviously it’s functional over creature comforts but it seems so lacking compared to something like the Ranger for the price.
Nobody is paying $50K for a ZR2. Try low $40s for a fully loaded Truck & that’s well below most every basic trim (e.g. Ford XLT F-150) full-size on the market. The interior is no different than a Ranger; push button start aside on a Lariat packaged Ford. Hard plastics & an 8” media screen are common to both and most features are common as well.
For the few people whining about the interior: Toyota has no problem asking $45K for their higher trim Tacoma & that pile of 💩 has rear drum brakes, a 5-speed transmission that can’t find the right gear to save its life, seats from hell, & interior appointments that only somebody with nostalgic feelings for the 90s can appreciate. The ZR2 is no better or worse than the Ranger from an interior standpoint. I’ll give Ford credit for offering push button start on the Lariat trim, but the ZR2 is the best overall truck in this segment. Toyota rides an outdated quality/durability narrative that no longer holds validation. Once people realize that Toyota does not have the quality gap that once existed; the Tacoma will need to compete on performance & value (rather than perception). This is where the ZR2 shines - more capable than its rivals.
Good vid bud but seriously - if you're doing a Z you really oughtta go for a rip in the rhubarb... Went through 4 of the previous gen Z's - aside from lift and stance they were mechanically regular Sonomas (don't get me wrong - still an absolute blast in the muck) GM finally got it right with this iteration - the full lockers (even a TRD Pro won't lock the front, although their crawl control is enviable) are a godsend. This truck runs out of clearance long before it runs out of grip. If you're crawling rocks, Diesel Bison is the ticket - if you wanna paint it go gasser and throw the spare in the bed.. Cheers man :)
There is nothing wrong with the button system it has been around for 66 years I remember them as I was growing up's and the best part no one bitched complained threw tantrums held their breath in defiance like the snowflakes today do, and then they crawl to their safety corners so guess the bottom line is DEAL WITH IT SNOWFLAKE GROW UP
Far better looking than the bison, aev has some great stuff for the zr2 no doubt about it. But unfortunately the bison does not fall into that great stuff category for me
I have this same truck, i would not recommend, after 250 started having problems after 500 miles , 60 of them was put on by the dealer trying to work all the bugs out. the dealer offered to buy it back for 39k. i paid 47k for it. please learn from my mistake.

While your statement may be completely accurate based on your experience, it differs greatly from my own. I have a 2020 Chevy Blazer RS and my transmission started acting up. My dealership felt the same odd slightly jerking sensation and replaced the whole transmission. All that being said, I'm not discounting your experience rather simply offering a different one. I hope you have found a vehicle that better suits your expectations and wish you nothing but good will.

go check 2021 honda ridgeline, all dealer put 2500-4000 markup. a basic,sport model will be like 44500, no, i wont buy that, i buy chevy, made in usa.
