Suzu-yaki (Suzu ware) is unglazed, black, pottery made in Suzu city in Noto peninsula of Japan. Suzu-yaki had been made 12th~15th century. But it was suddenly disappeared in 15th century. In 1970s, Suzu-yaki was revived after several hundred years of dormant period.
The video shows Suzu-yaki artist Mr. Shinohara Takashi's firing. Firing takes about 5 days * 24 hours.
