Fair play daz , I only use pp as a very very last resort , not because I worried on how to use it but because of the after effects on your koi , which to be fair mate I think you should of covered as part of a comprehensive look at pp , The research by Paula Reynolds and the hz university of applied sciences, Holland are quite an eye opener and can exsplain random fish losses in the following weeks after pp

@Alan I think it's in my previous video ... pp then same day fluke treatment full dose day 1 half dose days 2 and 3 then a full dose day 7ish.. that's what works for me .. its not a recommendation just what I do
hida hi I think its a good idea to keep a container of pond water for a emergency situation even the best of us can make a mistake. do you think my waterfall for the sleeper pond would benefit with a vari flow pump ? Ive made many mistakes its only way to learn right. keep up the good videos.

Daz i dont agree with everything u say or alot of others but we dont have to do we as life would be boring but i agree with you on this video people do it wrong contradict themselves an yes leave snidey comments those people have a big platform that they preach from too but there bellends anyway good video there skeg for people who are scared to use pp
I used to get Potassium Permanganate crystals off my doctor and dip my feet in for 30 minutes, never said anything on the glass bottle about adding air 😲
You do what works for you... Thats what I found.. I bought a huge jug of powder about 10 years ago. It was at a water treatment facility.. not at a pond store....way cheaper...
Absoloutely ... I saw soneone the other day noticed their pp had gone past its best before date on the packet... never knew it expired.. or is this another let's sell more by putting an expiry on it .. sadly its got expensive now where ever you buy it
I tend to do 1 gram to 7 litres at a maximum exposure time of 7 minutes 1 fish at a time aerated at full throttle 30 minutes before the first dip and continuously during---works for me 👍
Skeggy I dose more than the dose stipulated on PP packet up-to 25% extra, never had a problem or death “🫳🏻 🪵” but when neutralising with Sodium Thiasolphate as some will do. Well my koi aren’t happy with that method,so have to use HP

Yes it wasn't really an indepth look at pp in itself it's the inconsistency of dosing rates etc
I was wondering if i could get some advise my aqua everloution uv o rings are leaking they seem to do this alot any ideas how to solve the issue

It’s powder/crystals unless it’s exposed to damp/water i would think it shouldn’t change its effectiveness

Every pond is different hp is always best but in an emergency if you run out of hp it's good to know dechlorinator will also work
