The Chigg
Whether digging around in mother earth's "dirt" or in her "creeks", there's never a dull second watching Mr Chigg scooping up the finds! Love it, sir! Thank you!
The iron thing you found at abt: 2:09 was an adjustable handle used on old Dutch ovens and kettles when they were open hearth cooking. That is an awesome find. I bet that cleans up nicely - great video Chigg!
Awesome finds,I also wanted to say that it is so kind of you to go through the trouble of filming while you are searching for artifacts. I know you know what you are doing, but just be careful. Your safety is the most important thing. The broken gun was neat too. Stay safe take care. 😊
Are you dieting Chigg? You are looking slimmer some how!!What the hell happened!!🤣🤣You can't have a shore without an ocean???!!! Really!!! Beautiful find Chigg, that is awesome!! Great horseshoe. The ones I find are hard to date. Pooh Bear!!! 'I'm juts a little old rain cloud. Pay no attention to me....'🤣🤣 Wonderful video as always.👍👍
Rough ride on this side of the screen today Chig. At 4:09 I was Not holding my breath and around 14:09 I found myself giggling over your hypothermia. With that aside, thanks for your determination and the endless adventures.
Seemed like it was just "one of those dsys"! Was worried for a moment that you might get hurt or drown, but should have known the AQUAchigger is at home in the water. Thanks for surviving to share another adventure.
9:50 rifle fired corks. In England we called them Pop Guns. First wrought iron item looked like carriage of horse tack. Interesting hunt. Keep spare batteries in your camera case!
2:17 probably an old well bucket bail. the notch would keep it centered on the way up. 4:10 DIVE! DIVE! DIVE! 9:52 looks like one of those cork shooting guns like what you use at a fair to try and knock bottles over for a prize.
I have a reproduction of the item found. It is a colonial rotisserie, there should have been a bar at the bottom with skewers that would hold the food being cooked. You could lift the bar with skewered meat and rotate it on the holder to evenly cook.
I think that horse shoe was upside down. Notice the nail heads were IN the "gutter"? This just MAY be a horse shoe meant to give the horse more purchase in slippery surfaces such as ice, and wet clay. Kinda like horsie snow tires. Just a thought.

I understand the feeling of not having a pinpointer! I usually just waste time and go get a new one or just end up doing something different! Happened to me not to long ago! 🤦

Not the first time I’ve fallen in the water while someone was talking to me. 😂 Does the rest of a harmonica usually corrode away or something? Thanks for the adventure, Master Chigg.

Not too often does the Chigg get stumped. Not sure what the first item was. Maybe a handle to a huge cast iron cooking pot?
Thinking same
That's what I was thinking also
Yep, used to hang the pot over a fife
or well bucket. and he found that section of musket so he wasnt skunked.
@@thurin84 stumped
You didn't even tell me to Hold my Breath 😁😁😁😁😁
We didn't have a life jacket either. Ha!
Not all adventures go as we plan but spending a day on the river with the Chigg is never dull. Good to see your bees are repopulating!

Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota Chigg. You have no idea how glad you showed up. Thank you.
Pretty sure the iron relic with the hooks on each end and the pivot in the middle is a cooking pot hanger for use over an open fire.
Thank you. I enjoy all your videos.

Chigg I sure enjoy these places you dig at...so much history ❤
And often beauty too
Good steam as always,,, peace to you, from the UK,,,,

COOL fragmented musket Chigg. When you're done preserving it it'll make an Awesome display piece!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!
Damn it Chigg, I wasn't holding my breathe. 😅
CHIGGGGG,you didn't even give me a chance to holddd my breath when the camera when for a swim🤣🤣
Great way to take a break and sit down. Thank you.
Love the River hunts!
maybe that thing held a big bean pot for the whole camp ...loving the aqua adventures !!
Thank you for leaving in the part where the camera got knocked off the yak and sank to the bottom. I needed that laugh.
Seemed like it was just "one of those dsys"! Was worried for a moment that you might get hurt or drown, but should have known the AQUAchigger is at home in the water. Thanks for surviving to share another adventure.

I admire a person that is so dedicated to injuring himself to bring us these adventures . love ya Chigg !
The thing with the 2 hooks could be for a host bucket for digging out a well or for a very big cooking pot. We see them for host buckets for mining
Whew !!! I almost drowned there.
Didn’t have time to “hold my breath “ …. 😂😂 nice one chigg
Hold your breath…!!
Never a dull moment on your adventures.
yep yep yep!!!! Saw you are in the UK.....great great stuff!!!! have a Brilliant time!!!!!
THANKS CHIGG!!😊👍🍿
I wasn't holding my breath!
Thanks for the video!
Never underestimate the importance of a pinpointer! Makes life so much easier!
Man, I haven’t watched in forever. Glad you are doing well. Crazy to think of all the history behind what you find and so much undetected areas.
Great Adventure Just being out there/Some great finds/
Note to self, Chigg: bring extra batteries for the pinpointer!🤣 Love the old musket piece and the toy gun!❤
Love ya CHIGG 💟
When the camera flipped into the water I thought ya got attacked by another beaver! 😂
That’s a really cool looking river bottom. The San Antonio River is similar in size around my hometown of Goliad Texas
4:10. It’s all good Beau, I grabbed a towel out of the bathroom lol!
I have seen you find these before. I don't know how you don't remember. it is for holding a big cast iron cookpot.
That big piece of iron you found that reminded you of ice tongs, reminded me of a caldron handle that would be hung from a tri-pod over a fire.
Interesting adventure and please go back, but me and Woodrow in the trailer next door, darn near drowned.
It's a kettle handle that you use to hang off a metal half loop over the fire 😊
That cut bank ,looks artifacty.
New word.
You didn't tell me to hold my breath!
Nice flashlight!!!
Wasn’t expecting the musket 👍
Sweet find Chigg! Congrats!
Always take extra batteries, will keep a good trip from turning into a bad one. Even Boy Scouts "army" preaches
" Be prepaired ".
You should contact Nugget Noggin and Daisy to do a deep dive in that river. There are probably lots of great new discoveries to be made.⛏️⛏️⛏️⛏️
It makes me so happy knowing that you still do these vids, Mr. Chigger (or Mr. Beau?)
Oh geeze, I forgot to hold my breath! lol
Chigg that first thing you found is a bail from a large iron cooking Kettle .
The bit you found is a Civil War watering bit.
First item looks like the handle from a cauldron. Likely civil war camp cookery thing-a-mo-bob.
Split bit looks like easier on horses!
Awesome place and finds!
2:17 probably an old well bucket bail. the notch would keep it centered on the way up.
4:10 DIVE! DIVE! DIVE!
9:52 looks like one of those cork shooting guns like what you use at a fair to try and knock bottles over for a prize.
Well that was a nice bath
That perforated plate looks like those that go on the end of railroad ties to keep the from checking splitting
I have a reproduction of the item found. It is a colonial rotisserie, there should have been a bar at the bottom with skewers that would hold the food being cooked.
You could lift the bar with skewered meat and rotate it on the holder to evenly cook.
You gotta go back out there chigg! While the water is clear and shallow!
that klee Coe club, was sold around RI for yearsGinger Ale Selzer and soda water as well as flavors
Awesome video man!
love your videos thanks

I turn 20 this year

Maybe that first object is the handle for a caldren, "boil boil toil and trouble" 🐱
Great find
Jeez! Chig !! have you forgotten all the detecting you did before you ever even heard of a pinpointer ?
Shore is the edge of land abutting an ocean, lake or other large body of water. See also bank, beach, coast.😁😁
Can you make a video on what to waterproof on your detector. I took my garrett at max to the river and it got water in it. Its heart breaking 😢
You didn't warn me to hold my breath chigg and I almost diedid
Have you found anything extraordinary in the uk yet? You don’t have to say what it is just a yes or no and will we be swing the footage when your done? Thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼
4:08 Just for a minute I thought you were attacked again by a 🦫rabid beaver . Those things are bad "gnaws"
Such a beautiful creek! Is
This in maryland?!
Hey, I've got a bottle just like that first one, broken I mean!
Hi Chig, many times I see your kayak full of finds. Do you have to walk back down river to truck then? Just wondering? Rk.
I didn't even hold my breath chiggs nearly drowned 😮😅 uk
Frustrated but found 2 guns a. lefthanded horseshoe keep up the good work like watching
Not the first time I’ve fallen in the water while someone was talking to me. 😂
Does the rest of a harmonica usually corrode away or something?
Thanks for the adventure, Master Chigg.
My worst nightmare, a dead pin pointer
@ 2:20 looks like a hoop/handle that attaches to an ore bucket. The loop at the middle is attatched to a cable or rope. Idk. Just thinking.
Put a extra 5 batteries in your boat Chigg see you one the one Chigg GOD BLESS
PLEASE KEEP YOURSELF SAFE WE ARENT GETTING ANY YOUNGHER 😊.
It holds the witch pot over the fire 🔥 😂
My dad had a flashlight just like that one.
Do you ever cut the broken tops from those cool old bottles and make drinking glasses?
As the camera fell into the water I said out loud “hold your breath!” And my GF said “why? Did you fart?!” 😂😂
Hey Chigg and whoever else is with you
I wasn’t ready for a dunk in the river. It took me a half hour to get the water out of my ears.😂
I believe that horse shoe may be Canadian horse shoe
