That is how you know you built your EVO Right when you are at peak boost and are about to shift and your check engine light pops on and then off once you shift.

One word to describe this Evo, INSANE. This is a Veyron Super Sport and Venom GT killer, in 1/4 mile and acceleration of course, I don't know about top speed. I love the power band of the 2.0l and that 6766, I've got a similar setup, Fathouse fab turbo kit with a 6466 that makes about 800 and these cars are so much fun at those power levels they are just maintenance hogs lol....
Its a gd 2 liter maybe 2.3 that is impressive dont care what anybody says. Even making this type of power in a big v8 is impressive but this is on a level of its own and would destroy pretty much anything other then a purpose built drag car. Like i said my car destroys most v8s where i live and its no where near this insanity. Love it

+XxAtomic646xX E85 cannot support nearly as much power as C16. E85 runs way richer then then gasoline requiring massive injectors for a car like this. I don't even think you could make this much power on a single set of injectors with E85 would probably require a second set for injectors to provide enough fuel and you sure as hell wouldn't get away with 48-49 PSI without blowing up the engine if it is knocking on C16 already.
Badass Evo. My only dislike about this one is the exhaust tone. I don't like how some equal length manifolds make the exhaust more raspy/honda-like. I love the throaty rumble that the factory cast manifold puts out.

i noticed the a/f guage in the car hovering around 14-15 ish. I know he was only putting around, but with C16 fuel - would the engine be running too lean, or is this just one of the perks of C16? Awesome car!
it was stock ecu up to 750awhp but being a JDM EVO 7 we ran into problems beyond that (differences in the ecu and the US version). So we stepped up to the AEM EMS V2 and really like it.
That's crazy fast. Although I've never seen it, my friend's co-worker has a tuned Evo X. He bought the car for 20K and put about 20K on upgrades/tuning to get ~600 rwhp. Impressive. 40 grand for 600+ HP is a good deal if you ask me, even if you have to replace/repair parts occasionally from the extreme stress on that 4-banger.

at idle/cruise you want to be in that range for good fuel economy. You can be that lean only because there isn't much power/heat being made at that point. Once you go into boost it needs much more fuel.
Stock an evo 10 evo 9 and sti will crush a 350z and s2000 s2000-0-60in 5.7 -350z 0-60in5.6 and evo 9 and 10 hit 60 in 4.7 just like the sti so the 350 and s2000 would get a mudhole stomped in thier egos

how long the turbo have hold up? is it running today? we have so much fails with orecission turbos :( the turbo karecteristic are verry fine but the holding time realy short!!!

It is the shift light. You can program the ecu to trigger the cel when you want to shift.

Patrick S wrong, this is not using the stock ecu, I tuned it on the AEM EMS V2 - Chris aka "Mellon"
