"I rather help a friend to be a champion than be a champion with no friends" This is just wow
The Ghost of american Natives..
"Welcome to the world of the living, you have slept for quite some time."
Yeah, we heard it.
Agreed that needs to be on a poster or billboard somewhere
Just, AWESOME, and beyond applicable for life. Well said sir!
Damn this is the most Texas thing I've seen in a minute.
0:52 Ian thought he was slick getting away from forgotten weapons and Inrange
He really does look like Ian
Yeah I was like IS THAT IAN lmao
Same! I also had to pause and do a double take before I realized it wasn't him XD
Damn, I live in New York City and wish we could have fun competitions like that over here. Texas almost seems like a different country from where I live.
Kevin Norris cause we are.
Texas was it's own country for a bit before it was annexed by The U.S in 1845, thus sparking the U.S - Mexican war of 1846
I beleive Texas and New York are different Countries. That's what a State is (it's a Country). The United States of America is a more so a Corporation. This is why the USA or US is often referred to as a Nation e.g. "Our great Nation".
@@wynfrithnichtwo8423 send me to Hell or New York City it’ll be about the same to me.
Texas could and should be it’s own country, but they won’t because they couldn’t support the mass of people that would flock there if they did secede😂
I love it! Wish we could get more younger shooters involved.
I really want to get involved and I’m 15, I’m just afraid my parents won’t let me
I just had to be born a goddamn Brit (luck 0/10)
I'm turning 18 soon, and once I'm generally better with firearms (since I haven't shot a gun since I was 11 or 12) and have a bit of money to my name, I wanna get into cowboy action shooting.
Well, i live in Poland and im going to new york this summer 👍
@@parkerfiske4707 same only i think my parents would, i also want to make a short western maybe about 15 minutes but even that costs tons since you need outfits guns and blanks a location and sometimes horses
What a humble spirit that man has.
Texas is a place full of hearts ♥
HOLY COW that looks like SO MUCH FUN!!!! Great vid and in my home state, THE GREAT state of Texas, no less!
The place looks like it went out of business. Covid :/
Don't let him fool you that guy is good and he put in the time and effort!
Great Stuff
u can definitely tell who practices.
1:40 ITS MICAH BELL
1:43 Cattleman superior race
This Guy Late but the real name for the Cattleman is the Colt Single Action Army 1873 revolver. AKA: “The Peacemaker”.
@@mcknightmorgan2021 I'm sure you've already got an answer to this bud, but he's a character in the game red dead redemption 2 who dual wields Schofield revolvers. (At least that's what I've seen from their design but he's been known to fire them as fast as double actions so I really wouldn't be 100% sure)
That last quote was something else man
I met T bone aka Bill and his wife last week. Two of the nicest people
in Texas. God bless them.
Came here outta curiosity. Honestly this is great
"I've practiced enough to become extremely lucky" hahah well said
0:50 I Thought it was Ian from Forgotten Weapons 😅
Very impressive! Looks like a lot of fun too.
''i practice enough to become extremely lucky''... ain't that something,'...
Love it
Pure humility!
Red Dead Redemption 2 brought me here.
Yea me too
TheThingsILikeToDo These guys could kill Arthur and John even with their Dead Eye powers on. The game never lets you shoot that fast, not even with the semi auto pistols!
Colt M4A1 that’s very right my man
2:37, gosh that guy is superfast! It looked like a sped up footage, which it wasn’t. But where was he getting his shells for the shottie from?!! He had empty hands and shells seemed to appear from nowhere!!
Had to watch that a few times. Dude is Lightning!
there’s a little ammo holder on the side of the shotgun that holds 4 shells
I am gonna call myself "slanted eye lee"
Ha!
Lmaooo
Or you know, something less self-effacing
Mines Brown Skinned Billy
Already got my cowboy name literally my TH-cam name
Obligatory MGS reference 2:15
Was thinking they were referring to lever action style rifles as "cowboy action" rifles. Was pleasantly surprised.
Man, this looks so fun
oh god I love Texas
this is one of the places that would survive a zombie apocalipse
I'm trying to get into this this summer. Looks so fun!
I would love to do this! It's a environment that is hard to find. If this is around the northern idaho area I will join the club!
God bless Texas
With his own hands!!
2:14 YOU'RE PRETTY GOOD
"It's a nice gun, I'll give you that. But the engraving gives you no tactical advantage whatsoever."
0:50 I just love the image of them wheeling in their guns in little carriages like babies haha
Horses take up a lot of room and there are a number of stages to shoot.
3:02 a time traveling cowboy
this is one of the most fun looking things ive ever seen
this is fking awesome. never lose this merica.
Man those golden boys are beautiful I love western style guns
Thanks for Sharing! Great stuff!
Just getting Started! Looking forward to this hobby!
Am I crazy or did I see one of the cowboys with a 1911...seems to me that ain't no cowboy gun, but what do I know maybe they allow it, what's your take on it?
With a 1911 they are shooting Wild Bunch Class
FumioFunakoshi The West was still somewhat wild in 1911. Ever played Read Dead Redemption?
Chad K nope ur thinking of read dead 1. Rdr2 takes place in 1899, as a prequel
@@theojudice5609 actually red dead redemption was red dead 2. The first game was red dead revolver but it was a pretty different game
the fire arm line that led to what we know as the 1911 today, started in 1900. so... it could just be one of the early variants? i did not get a good look at that section for me to be able to really tell.
"I've practiced enough to be extremely lucky"
Okay I've got to remember this one.
Pretty much sums up the shooting sport in general!
*What was that good looking lever action @ **1:37** ?*
*T-Bone Dooley is a Good Guy **4:51*
2:22 can someone tell me what is the name of that holster.
2:14 what did he just say
" all modesty aside,
your pretty good "
Gasp. Revolver Ocelot
Pretty Good 👉👉

That's what being American and not only that. That's what being a human and enjoying using weapons and having fun is all about. We just have the best laws. People still compete in jousting and mid evil sword battles. Jousting and sword fighting with armor has rules, for good reason. Gun shooting has rules for a reason. Guns are less safe than a blade. But it's all the same we can all do it. It's all about safety.
These guys remind me of those star wars guys or dungeons and dragons club they go out and play like the old days mixed with pro golfing
I'd love to do a cowboy action shooting comp
Loved all the puns. Lol
Met a guy in Conroe who was into Cowboy Action Shooting. If you’re in the North Houston area, there’s a range in Grime’s county (where the renaissance festival is) that *hosts a variety of Cowboy Action Shooting events twice a month!*
I only wish it weren’t such an expensive hobby! Especially since you gotta have all (of the right) 3 guns. The rules mean my current shotguns (O/U and semi auto) aren’t allowed, only SxS or lever action is period accurate so I gotta spend at least $500 on a shotgun, plus gotta dress the part too, with old style holsters, hat, and boots.
If you’re lucky, your local club may allow 22s for newcomers just getting into it without the money to afford and train with bigger calibers.
4:51 Quote by an man of honor, if its honest.
Rootin' Tootin' Cowboy Shootin'
Much better then the one I hade on board.
oh my gosh that looks so fun.
i'd want to quick draw duel with rubber bullet
Gotta love Texas, suspect that a few of these guys are not big Obama fans.
We need to ban assault lever action rifles, think of the kids!
@Anonymous TH-camr Along with fully assault single action revolvers
Fully auto, clip fed, double barrel shotguns need to be banned. 😂
Don't forget about fully semi automatic pump action shotguns 😆😆
What about fully automatic, belt feed, Muskets?
Anonymous TH-camr lol 😆
Once you play RDR2 for a while, it will bring you to some random Cowboy shooting or how to dress like one
Mhm
Same
Is this the same as 3 gun western?
That was really awesome super cool I Wish Shoot All of Target’s 🎯
Great video
2:47 wow, that technique.
No recoil to those guns. Must be very light loads.
Yep, and extremely close targets. Sort of defeats the whole purpose in my opinion.
Awesome 👍
Lady at 1:33 had a 1911?
Wild Bunch division.
I'll do you one better. 1911a1 with the commander hammar
These people would make as great police officers with there western firearms
The cowboy guys always reminds me of Erron black from mortal kombat.
...at 2:37 he was shooting so fast I lost count...but I think he fired 26 rounds using four guns...reloading the last one between each shot...in 13 seconds...
...ban semi autos?...then what's next?...it's gotta be all of them...
Most cowboy action is 10 rounds from 2 pistols 10 round from lever action and 4 from shotgun
0:53 that girl surely has a dead eye
Tons of fun, but what they failed to mention is just how expensive it is.
Perfeito
I already know my nickname would be "Micky Musket: The Slowest Gun in the West".
It's thirteen one nine (13 : 19) not thirteen nineteen .
2:37 that's... fast.
America! God Yeah!
0:51 Ian from Forgotten Weapons
I wanna be a COWBOY.!!!!!
Old school three gun
I like to call it four gun. Come shoot with us sometime!
Looks fun..
Why cant arthur shoot a Lancaster like that?😤
man if i was a robber id never wanna break into any of these guys house idgaf how old they are lmao XD
Rdr2 brought me here
Arthur Morgan couldn't even come close
2:14 You're pretty good.
I've had enough of your judo!
0:50 is that Ian or am I trippin
Im looking for some cowgirl action.
Man this fun
0:50 thought that was gun jesus
For lawabiding peeps, guns are freedom. Greets from germoney.
John Dory, not the fish! ( get it? )
Arthur Morgan approves
Howdy! I like Texas. I visited Houston,San Antonio and Dallas in 2017. I recently shot Western comedy called "RUDI RAFAEL VS LUCKY LUKE DUEL" . I had duel with Lucky Luke. Lucky Luke is faster than his shadow. Who won the duel ? Besides that you see card tricks in the movie. See it in youtube. Yee haw !
🤣🤣🤣 Rudi Rafael , Artisthouse Rafael ,Nuppulinna, Finland
You're pretty good 👉👉
Aint no challenge for saidie Adler
She aint shipping vegitables for A living
In a game that fast reloadspeed would look unrealistic.
Assault Revolvers lol
Well I know where I'm heading when the zombie apocalypse hits.
No ones mentioning the people with baby strollers for their guns?
โอเคเอ่งยังเจ๋ง
But liberals say guns are only for killing people and hunting... How can you have fun?
Heavy heavy sarcasm guys. This looks like a blast, similar to the steel matches I go to.
Hunting is better than farming i hunt
Rootin tootin bois with trigger fingery boomin
Yeye aha I’m from Norco
Did that guy say his name was Covid Joe?? XD
I wonder how fast the gunslingers from the Old West could shoot
Most actual gun fights in the old west were most likely just folks getting shot in the back in the bar. It really wasn’t as common to do the whole 12 pace duel stuff you see in movies from what I understand
The dude who wrote the script for the news anchor needs to chill, I don't think he missed a single gun pun.
