Desert Demolition looks fantastic, and really comes to life as a playable cartoon. It's not the best platformer ever, but it certain makes for a fun throwback to Saturday mornings in front of the TV!

Thank you for showing the ending to the waterfall bonus stage. I was always curious what the top of it looks like. It was the only bonus stage I didn't complete as a child. Well done!
This is like pizza tower but mr stick 4:55 Wait what..... 14:36 Its pizza time! 19:27 Why not....Its sylvester! 24:42 Well thats fine 26:44 WAIT We can play as him?
The only problem with this game is that it's really, really short. It's incredibly fun, and the graphics and sound are on point. A shame that it's all over in about thirty minutes!
Since I am a very big fan Of Looney Tunes games like these are going to catch my attention and of course this particular game featuring road runner and Wile is no exception also I just so happen to come across this game and now it Is the newest addition to my Sega Genesis collection of games and I'm very excited to play it
oh my god I use to play this all the time im a huge fan of the looney Tunes i watched them everyday i Miss playing theyre games on the SNES and Sega i would make up my own adventures with my Road Runner and Willie Coyote toys after playing this game I gotta find it again
This looks *WAY* better than "Death Valley Rally." I never played this game as a kid unfortunately. The graphics are much better and aren't nearly as repetitive as the SNES game, I'm really loving the smooth character animation, the sound design is pretty good, and I bet it looks *much* easier to control.
I feel like Valley Rally had better graphics but this game looks like it plays better and the fact that you can be the Coyote is an extra bonus. I have beaten Valley Rally at least
Shame both are terrible though, typical crappy western developer design. Both games do look good, but I find Death Valley Rally looks a little better due to the larger sprites, and more detail on the sprites.
Lose the console war..... every console generation. ;-) In all seriousness, I see the appeal in neither game. Like Taz-Mania and it's sequel, the soundtrack consists of tiny bits of music when the character does things, Dig Dug did that better. This game's soundtrack sounds like it is having an epileptic seizure.
Thank you for sharing! I never understood how to complete the ending and sure couldn't have looked up how to back then, so it's great to see how it ends! 😁
This and Death Valley Rally are really beautiful games to look at, I never felt either controlled well though. Top notch animation for both games though.
That log platform waterfall bonus reminds me of the hakuna matata level in The Lion King. And Wile E. has the better more fulfilling ending. 😊 Plus Wile E's gameplay is more interesting to me. But I appreciate both the diversity with there gameplay in this rather very short game. At least Road Runner's gameplay is better, more faster pace then what how it was handled in Death Valley for SNES.
It makes sense when you think about it. Coyote, well...obviously he is an extremely loyal customer, despite the many failures of the products. And the many failings of the products? Of course the Road Runner would design them that way.
i was wondering what this game was called, after a few hours of watching old vids the sound FX and stuff definitely reminds me of when i played this as a kid.
Is it me or when Coyote flies those rockets into space the song thats playing in the background is the same song that plays when you battle Giovanni in Pokemon?
Clearly before. Desert Demolition was released in early 1995 while Vectorman was released in late 1995. Plus, this game was delivered late, it was expected to be released much earlier.
Whoever did the sound design for this game deserves an award. It really sounds like you're watching the show!
Blue Sky Software were beasts man. Very talented. They also made Vectorman, another really good series on Genesis.
This game was a ton of fun. Once you got the hang of the balancing part the Coyote’s mission was so rewarding.

This game was cool because you can play as both characters.
roadrunner feels overpowered compared to wile e
@@ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND Which is 100% faithful to the cartoon, lol.
The way there's no background music but situational sounds and jingles reminds me of Taz-Mania...
CaptainKeelhaul Its trying to mimic how Carl Stallings score was usually synchronized with the on screen actions in the original shorts.
Or for that matter, Milt Franklyn’s (and later, William Lava’s) score.
Both games are great
Anyone Else going through nostalgia and looking up old games from their childhood?
Yes, my Genesis is over 20 years old, so it doesn't work anymore.
Yes, I saw the case for this from the TH-cam channel Nostalgic Rick. So Yes, to answer your question that's exactly what I'm doing.

Would love this game even more if it was longer. I used to rush through the levels too quick. But now I'll do everything and get all the bonuses.
I loved playing this game. Good ol days with no problems just snacks and sega.

My first game on sega genesis, how lucky I was.
Oh. You get to be either The Coyote or the RoadRunner here? Cool! MEP MEP!
Much better looking, sounding and especially playing Roadrunner game than the one on the SNES.
Once again, Genesis does what Nintendon't 🤪🤙

What about the Atari arcade game?
@@solarflare9078 Okay, but not really good. Death Valley Rally looks nice, but the game is way too hard for its own good.

Really? Roadrunner can be the Acme President And coyote can only be the customer of the year? That is so unfair.

The Road Runner was fun to play as in this game
A simulator game where to make your own traps to try to catch the road runner would be pretty cool
