Davy Jones theme really stands out. It’s not menacing or villainous, it’s just sad, a man doomed to sail the seven seas for all eternity, he feels no anger or hatred, he’s just a broken man.

Just like Vader tho His mother died right on his eyes. He turned evil to save his love of life Padme, but failed. His body was completely burnt and stuffed inside a very uncomfortable robot suit for the rest of his life.
Vader is easily the darkest character out of all of them. The mans story is so tragic. He lost everything. His wife, his mother, his children, his best friend and master, his pupil, some of his body parts, he became a slave twice in his life, once as a child once from the emperor, and that's just what you see in the movies, that's just the tip of the iceberg. There's so much more that happened under his time working in the the empire

I love how with Davy Jones theme you can feel the stages of grief it goes through. He’s back and forth on sadness and anger so that is how the theme is. It’s sad and heartbreaking because he misses her, but then he’s mad at her for changing him, and then it’s back to sad cause he disappointed her, then back to anger at the fact she never actually truly loved him, then ultimately sadness in the end because he felt true love and she didn’t.

There's just something so unique about Palpatine's theme. It's like you're walking through the Underworld, and death and lifelessness are all around you.

They're all so different. I have to say, a lot of people don't seem to know much about Sauron or Jones as characters but I'd have to say they're the deepest and darkest out of everyone here. Vader is a close third but really, it's crazy how underappreciated their CHARACTERS are.

Firstly, Sauron ain't pure evil. Originally named Mairon (which translates to "Admirable" or "Excellent" in Quenya) , he was once pure and fair when he dwelt in the land of Valinor. He was a Smith under the servitude of Aule, but he was corrupted by Melkor, the mightiest of the Valar and fell from grace. "Among those of his (Melkor's) servants that have names the greatest was that spirit whom the Eldar called Sauron, or Gorthaur the Cruel. Now let's get into how the rings of power were created shall we. Sauron took the fair Elven form of Annatar, Lord of Gifts, and he presented himself to the Elves. Galadriel, Gil-Galad and Elrond distrusted Annatar, but Celebrimbor, and the Smiths of Eregion were fascinated by him. Annatar taught them how to craft great rings and the smiths made 16. Then Celebrimbor, while Annatar was absent, created the 3 Elven rings. Meanwhile Sauron in his forges in Mount Doom created the One Ring, with the purpose of corrupting and dominating the bearers of the other 19 rings. After he wore the one, his plans were revealed to the Elves and they cast away their rings. Then the War of Sauron and the Elves followed, in which the Dark Lord was victorious. Sauron was able to conquer most of Middle-Earth and ruled for millenia. These ages were named the Dark Years. Everything was going according to Sauron’s plans, until the rise of the island of Numenor. Ar-Pharazon, last and greatest Numenorian King, had heard rumours of a Sauron, and that he was called "King of Men". Ar-Pharazon was infuriated and gathered his armies and set sail for Middle-Earth. At last, he persuaded Ar-Pharazon to attack Aman, the home of the Valar, promising them immortality. And so they did. But the Valar praised to Illuvatar (Omnipotent Being, and their creator) , for they did not want to drench their hands in the blood of Men and so Illuvatar Intervened. He covered Numenor under the waves, sinking it to the depths of the seas and shifting the shape of the Earth from flat to spherical, separating Valinor forever, from the rest of the world. In the downfall of Numenor, Sauron's body was firstly destroyed, and he was never able to assume a fair form ever after. But there were a few that had left Numenor and did infact survive, for they did not agree with Sauron. These are now known as the Dunedain, or Rangers of the West. I will not go any deeper in his story, since the following events have all been told and presented to you through Peter Jackson's adaptations. Talking in a musicality way, Davy Jones theme is by far the best one. How would sound the story of a man that loved, then was betrayed, then the frustration and the anger consumes him?? Every other theme just describes that you just need to fear the character, doesn't come with a story
Voldemort: An ominous danger, unseen by most. Kylo Ren: A mislead being, wanting more. Sauron: The one to bring death and oblivion. Davy Jones: Emotionally tormented and betrayed. Joker: Purely chaotic. Magneto: Driven by rage and vengeance. Seeking out those who partook in the slaughtering of millions under the holocaust. The Emperor: The mysterious ultimate threat, one to bring innevitable defeat. Thanos: Justifiable deeds, driven by determination to go save the universe - whatever means necessary. Darth Vader: Driven by fear, anger, hate and suffering, becoming a terror to all who faced him. A tragic fate, being a slave from birth to death; never being free until his very last moments saving his son from certain death.

While I still think The Imperial March is a master piece, I was honestly taken aback by Davy Jones’ theme. It was both beautiful and tragic, it was very distinct from nearly every other theme.
I love the Joker’s theme, it really blends with the standard that Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard set, it brings out his character in a similar but different way (because that makes sense) that the film does.

We can all just agree that Darth Vaders theme is the most unique and draws his character in such away that no other theme song does. And I say this only because Duel of the Fates is not Mauls theme song, it's the theme of the battle that determines Anakins Fate.
If I were a villain, I personally relate to Joker’s and Darth Vader’s theme and also a little bit of Sauron’s. Joker: intense and chaotic bus giving off a sense that it’s chaos is on purpose. Darth Vader: gives a sense of urgency and fear but also has style and impact. Sauron: leaving a sense of tragedy and sadness at the end.

I love how with Davy Jones theme you can feel the stages of grief it goes through. He’s back and forth on sadness and anger so that is how the theme is. It’s sad and heartbreaking because he misses her, but then he’s mad at her for changing him, and then it’s back to sad cause he disappointed her, then back to anger at the fact she never actually truly loved him, then ultimately sadness in the end because he felt true love and she didn’t.
You can hear the similarities between the Emperor's theme and Voldemort. Of course is not coincidence, both by the great John Williams.

@@dylanverstraete5323 so, sauron was originally the fairest of all Maiar and any beings that existed. He was pure hearted and good. But he was manipulated by his soon to be master The Dark Lord Melkor.
Melkor made him destroy everything he loved to prove his loyalty to Melkor.
Sauron did so and began serving Melkor slowly losing everything that made him good and fair. He started becoming pure evil. And it just went on and on until he finally came up with the plan of ruling everything and tormenting everything by making the rings of power as a trick to control the minds of the elves and men.

As a huge Tolkien nerd I will tell you about Sauron. I have read the Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales, the History of Middle Earth and Tolkien's letters, so I know quite a lot about the character. I will be quoting many things from the Silmarillion.
Firstly, Sauron ain't pure evil. Originally named Mairon (which translates to "Admirable" or "Excellent" in Quenya) , he was once pure and fair when he dwelt in the land of Valinor. He was a Smith under the servitude of Aule, but he was corrupted by Melkor, the mightiest of the Valar and fell from grace.
"Among those of his (Melkor's) servants that have names the greatest was that spirit whom the Eldar called Sauron, or Gorthaur the Cruel. In his beginning he was of the Maiar of Aulë, and he remained mighty in the lore of that people. In all the deeds of Melkor the Morgoth upon Arda, in his vast works and in the deceit of his cunning, Sauron had a part, and was only less evil than his master in that for long he served another and not himself. But in after years he rose like a shadow of Morgoth and a ghost of his malice, and walked behind him on the same ruinous path down into the Void. "

" Of old there was Sauron the Maia, whom the Sindar in Beleriand named Gorthaur. In the beginning of Arda Melkor seduced him to his allegiance, and he became the greatest and most trusted of the servants of the Enemy, and the most perilous, for he could assume many forms, and for long if he willed he could appear noble and beautiful, so as to deceive all but the most wary. "
After Melkor's defeat in the War of Wrath by the Host of the Valar, Sauron did infact repent of his evil deeds to Eonwe, the herald of the King of the Valar, Manwe.
" When Thangorodrim (a great mountain) was broken and Morgoth overthrown, Sauron put on his fair hue again and did obeisance to Eönwë, the herald of Manwë, and abjured all his evil deeds. And some hold that this was not at first falsely done, but that Sauron in truth repented, if only out of fear, being dismayed by the fall of Morgoth and the great wrath of the Lord of the West. But it was not within the power of Eönwë to pardon those of his own order (they are both Maiar, so they are of the same order), and he commanded Sauron to return to Aman and there receive the judgement of Manwë. Then Sauron was ashamed, and he was unwilling to return in humiliation and to receive from the Valar a sentence, it might be, of long servitude in proof of his good faith; for under Morgoth his power had been great. Therefore when Eönwë departed he hid himself in Middle-Earth; and he fell back into evil, for the bonds that Morgoth had laid upon him were very strong. "

If only Eönwë had handled Sauron with a little bit of caution and tried to be supportive and persuade him to return to Valinor, the the events of Lord of the Rings would have never happened.
Now let's get into how the rings of power were created shall we. Sauron took the fair Elven form of Annatar, Lord of Gifts, and he presented himself to the Elves. Galadriel, Gil-Galad and Elrond distrusted Annatar, but Celebrimbor, and the Smiths of Eregion were fascinated by him. Annatar taught them how to craft great rings and the smiths made 16. Then Celebrimbor, while Annatar was absent, created the 3 Elven rings. Meanwhile Sauron in his forges in Mount Doom created the One Ring, with the purpose of corrupting and dominating the bearers of the other 19 rings. After he wore the one, his plans were revealed to the Elves and they cast away their rings. Then the War of Sauron and the Elves followed, in which the Dark Lord was victorious.
Sauron was able to conquer most of Middle-Earth and ruled for millenia. These ages were named the Dark Years. Everything was going according to Sauron’s plans, until the rise of the island of Numenor. Ar-Pharazon, last and greatest Numenorian King, had heard rumours of a Sauron, and that he was called "King of Men". Ar-Pharazon was infuriated and gathered his armies and set sail for Middle-Earth. Sauron's forces fled at the coming of Numenor, abandoning their Lord alone in his dark tower Barad-Dur. Sauron crawled out of his own stronghold; appearing in his own beautiful form he begged for Ar-Pharazon's mercy. Ar-Pharazon decided to take him back to Numenor as a prisoner and Sauron came without showing ang signs of resistance. Slowly, using but his mere words, he was able to deceive Ar-Pharazon and become from a prisoner to an advisor, to the King's most trustful person in the entire world. He built temples in the name of Melkor and he told the civilians to worship him in the place of Manwë. At last, he persuaded Ar-Pharazon to attack Aman, the home of the Valar, promising them immortality. And so they did. But the Valar praised to Illuvatar (Omnipotent Being, and their creator) , for they did not want to drench their hands in the blood of Men and so Illuvatar Intervened. He covered Numenor under the waves, sinking it to the depths of the seas and shifting the shape of the Earth from flat to spherical, separating Valinor forever, from the rest of the world. In the downfall of Numenor, Sauron's body was firstly destroyed, and he was never able to assume a fair form ever after. But there were a few that had left Numenor and did infact survive, for they did not agree with Sauron. These are now known as the Dunedain, or Rangers of the West.
I will not go any deeper in his story, since the following events have all been told and presented to you through Peter Jackson's adaptations. But I will infact quote Morgoth's Ring where Tolkien does speak of Sauron’s character and motives.
"He still had the relics of positive purposes, that descended from the good of the nature in which he began: it had been his virtue that he loved order and co-ordination, and disliked all confusion and wasteful friction...... But like all minds of this cast, Sauron's love or mere understanding of other individual intelligences was correspondingly weaker; and though the only good in, or rational motive for, all this ordering and planning and organization was the good of all inhabitants of Arda, his 'plans' , the idea coming from his own isolated mind, became the sole object of his will, and an end, the End in itself. "

Darth Vader: Driven by fear, anger, hate and suffering, becoming a terror to all who faced him. A tragic fate, being a slave from birth to death; never being free until his very last moments saving his son from certain death.

While I still think The Imperial March is a master piece, I was honestly taken aback by Davy Jones’ theme. It was both beautiful and tragic, it was very distinct from nearly every other theme.
Could be because it has a similar melody to the Batman dark knight theme

If I were a villain, I personally relate to Joker’s and Darth Vader’s theme and also a little bit of Sauron’s.
Joker: intense and chaotic bus giving off a sense that it’s chaos is on purpose.
Darth Vader: gives a sense of urgency and fear but also has style and impact.
Sauron: leaving a sense of tragedy and sadness at the end.
