I live in South Carolina (US), and just got the white rain lily, but I’m using it as a pond plant. It’s sold here as a terrestrial or bog plant, but as a pond plant it’s recommended to be only two inches deep in water, however, I’m going to try and train it to go deeper (down to soil level), as the weeks progress. Hopefully it will establish fine! Any tips or info is appreciated!
It's could be a bog plant but am not sure it would survive water only conditions but no harm in trying with a few plants in water and saving the rest for the conventional method
My rain lilly is in my pond for the summer and in the winter it lives in my basement bathroom in a rubbermaid tote with water and lights. I need to split mine because it's now too large for the floating island it is in.
More than anything I loved your command over language, excellent. Lovely videt. To the point. No dilly dallying. Thanks for the information. I have a rain Lilly which I am planning to propagate. Can we directly keep under the direct sun after sowing the bulbs. Please reply. Happy Gardening. God Bless.
Is it a good idea to leave these in the pots throughout the year even after the flowering season, keeping space constraint in mind? Do you have any idea if they multiply post the season as well?
Thanks for this video. I got these bulbs a little late. I don't know if they'll still bloom this year. Hoping for the best. Do the grass wilt out and disappear completely or do they still remain like after the flowering season ends?
Your explanation is good.. your voice is so clear... good video..sir I have put few bulb s one month back.. how long it takes to fill pot complete ly...? already I got one bloom😊
My rain Lily (pink) bloomed just once with the bud it came along from the nursery.Henceforth, no blooming, but the plant is very healthy green with increased growth.Properly fertlized on time.Winter almost is here.Help.

I've been following your videos and like them very much. Thank you. The rain Lily it as we used to call when we were kids, St. Joseph's were in abundance at our home. Now I live in an apartment so planted a few bulbs of white and pink and they flower often. I'm interested in the yellow one which is not available in Mangalore where I am based. I ordered some bulbs online yet to pot them. Where else can I get the varietied of colours
Sir but no matter what I do I don't see and flowers blooming 😞, not even a hint of blooming.., it looks more like a thick grass, they are very green and healthy... But no flowers, please help me 😞
Yellow gives 100percent seeds because stigma is inside deep and pollen is outside , hence pollen has to fall inside
