There is that, but it also it is not good for NECA if people just pass on their releases because they can get them down the road. Also, if you want people to pay hundreds of dollars for collectables, it's probably a good idea if they retain some value. lol.
Another difference is that they want $75 to ship to Canada this time around as opposed to $20 last time. I was one of the unlucky ones who had their order cancelled when neca ran out of stock. So I’m happy I have another chance at it but not happy with the extra shipping coat.

I think they miscalculated the international shipping cost so they just cancelled those orders and refunded our money they kept for a year. That they are now re-releasing with a way higher shipping rate backs my theory up.
I don’t understand why these are cheaper than the turtle layer and Donatello laboratory. I mean, I’m not mad at the price, but I just want the others to match that price as well.

I'd buy another street scene if it was different than the first one, or if they had an optional parts pack to change it up a bit, and change that curved sidewalk piece to a straight edge. Plus a continuation of the background
If I really, really want something in my collection I'll pay as much as it takes to get it. 95% of my collection will never be worth what I paid, but making a profit has never been a consideration for me. The value is in how my collection makes me feel, not how much it's worth.
You have to wonder why it took so long to reissue this thing in the first place. Were there other versions of this too? Like with more realistic and/or comic style deco?

I bought tons of stuff directly from NECA. They all were delivered so far, maybe a month or so late on a couple things in the past (Frankenstein chair set was pushed back by 3 months), but they all arrived in the end. I have Freddy's Furnace set and Camp Crystal Lake Friday the 13th set still on order, suppose to ship in December/January. I also have the Burger King Monster 4 pack suppose to ship this month or next.

Same with Neca’s predator throne.. and a load of old figures that don’t deserve a re-release… I’m looking at you striped Beetlejuice with your crazy fkin arms. Sideshow are doing it too, just re-released the samurai predator and deluxe terminator 2. If you collect for an investment, get out now. 🤷♂️

for one dio in italy it will cost 149.99$ + 104$ for shipping :D and you could also get the import duties (about 25/30%)
