Totally. Seems like that's what sub 5 and on requires. Sacrificing the mechanics of the method in favor of efficiency. Reminds me of Megaminx solvers, this is done often.

ZBLL cases all have the 4 edges correctly oriented (cross on top). This is because with ZBLL one of the steps is to orient the edges. For 'true 1LLL' you would need to know the LLL algorithm for all 57 OLL cases.

ZBLL - Oriented edges (w/ 'yellow cross on top)
1LLL - everything else
Way to think about it:
You have a few degrees of complexity.
2 look OLL: you orient the edge (get a cross on top ---> orient the corners
1 look OLL: orient all the top layer with 1 algorithm.
COLL: is a 'subset' for the edge oriented-OLLS. These Algs ORIENT AND SOLVE the last layer corners(which leaves you with easy fast U/Z/H perms).
ZBLL: just like COLL it is derived of edge-oriented OLLS only it ORIENTS AND SOLVES THE WHOLE LAST LAYER
OLLCP: like coll but for all the rest of the olls
1LLL: same as ZBLL but for all of the OLL cases.
