My province is in Ilocos Norte Currimao where walking distance to the beach but right now I'm here in Maryland can't go around freely...places to go are so expensive...you want to eat..go to restaurant unlike in Phil. can buy fruits anywhere on the streets...missed it so much...winter here...boring...hahaha..good luck and enjoy...

Bret makatas means succulent in Bisaya (Juicy)I don't know if they have the same meaning in Tagalog, I am not fluent in tagalog I am a pure "BISDAK" from "CEBU" and proud of it. I am currently living in SEATTLE, WA. U.S.A. I still wash my clothes by hand, but I go to the Laundry mat regularly, it is more convenient to wash in the machine and use the dryer machine it is more convenient and less wrinkle on the clothes...I love the machine I don't have to wait for the nice sunny weather...Here right now it is Winter, and it is freezing cold 30 degree weather and we just had a snow flurries and sprinkle of rain, our weather is like Vancouver B.C. and San Francisco, but some accumulation of snow on some part of the State.... Oh my gulay! Im drooling seeing u eating durian, suha, bibingka, tupig, pako,seaweed, missing these foods so much! Way toooooo pricey for durian here in Vancouver, love durian soooo much but i feel like $35-40 (1,600 pesos) for a piece is a waste of money. Not even sure if its good. Their tupig there is different from our tupig in Ilocos Norte , that looks like kalamay, tupig is made of glutinous rice flour, gata, buko strips, sesame seeds, condensed milk or sugar, some butter or margarine. I bake it in the oven when craving. You guys are so blessed to be living there in Mindanao, durian, marang, mangosteen, don't grow in Luzon, and they dont even supply other parts of the country so i didnt know we have durian sa 'Pinas , my first durian taste was in Singapore 30 yeas ago. I wish I can move to Mindanao so i can eat durian everyday, at first i dislike it , then i love it even the smell

i stopped using cotton in clothing. its heavy when wet and doesn’t dry fast specially on cloudy/rainy days. as a traveller, you gotta use polyester or blends like nyco (nylon, cotton) or polycotton (polyester cotton) fabrics. they’re light when wet and faster to dry even on rainy days, perfect for travel. that applies to everything from shirts, pants, shorts, polos and even underwear (spandex).

There is no distinction between inclusive we and exclusive we in English, that's why it might be a bit confusing. In Tagalog, "Pupunta kami" - We are going (does not include the person being spoken to). "Pupunta tayo "- We are going (includes the person being spoken to). In Bisaya, "Mukadto mi" and "Mukadto ta"
