After 5 months of having this deck and tweaking it to optimize it, a few observations: Trouble in Pairs is worth the hype. I consistently draw 3 - 6 cards per turn cycle. In fact, I draw more with it than I ever do with Rhystic study as Nelly Borca also enables opponents to draw their 2nd card each turn for attacking at least one of your opponents. In fact, this deck has also made Smuggler’s Share also very viable. Also, Aurelia, the Law Above is far less consistent card advantage in this deck than either of those other two I mentioned above and I’ve actually cut her. Sound of Drums is also an over performer as you target the biggest creature with evasion and it becomes either a way for opponents life totals to drop much faster or it causes removal to be used on that creature and then you can still bring sound of drums back from graveyard if another big enough threat comes in. Of note, this deck works best when removing all of the on-board attack deterrents with instant removal/protection spells at low cmc. It has turned this deck into a deck that rewards opponents for keeping you for late game and those who try to remove you/undo your board get punished and end up getting knocked out faster. And now that my play group sees how the deck works, they avoid doing things to me and my board putting me consistently in the top two and by that point it is often a toss up but I often have enough interaction and threats to close out the game or make it a very close game when I don’t quite pull it off. Surprisingly, it is one of my favorite and more competitive of 15 decks I own. And it draws more cards than almost any other deck I own with few exceptions like the combination of Greater Good in a Xenagos Dragon Tribal deck or my Sythis Enchantress deck if that one gets going.
I got into Magic a few months ago and ever since I've been really hooked on Angels, and always wanted to build a Goad / Angel Deck. So I'm more than hyped about this deck.
I was thinking of taking the main gameplan out of the deck and transfering it into Queen Marchesa, to be able to get it Orzhov cards that follow a similar plan, like Breena. But I'm tempted to just try it witch a few changes and Aurelia as commander first.
Won't havoc eater gain +1/+1 counters equal to the total power of each creature goaded by it. So if everyone else has at least one big creature out, havoc eater will gain all their power

I'm excited for this deck because of Feather. Definitely going to cater the deck towards Feather in the future with Boros auras.
I’m hyped for this deck, I bought the UR goad deck from Baulders Gate, and I’ve been working on a Jeskai Group Hug/Goad build.
Nice that sounds fun!
