And what can happen to my situation, I entered 1987 without inspection, without admission directly from Puerto Rico, I have never left the USA, and not criminal record, three citizen children. And I've never had a deportation letter
What about those who AREN'T in removal proceedings and have been in the US 10+ years??? I seriously doubt any non-citizen who has otherwise obeyed the law and behaved themselves will willingly go INTO removal proceedings just to play this card. It's a gamble not worth taking, especially for those who actually end up getting thrown out if their appeal is denied. And simply being out of status is enough reason for a denial from USCIS in the first place.
I have done it as it was my only option! 6 years now and still not received an NTA,.I can legally work and drive but other than that nothing, and trust me I have everything good . They don't want us to get legalized , that's it , plain and simple.
@@freeatlast3752 Sorry to hear about that. Maybe if EVERY NON-CITIZEN in the US suddenly stopped coming in to work and instead united in protest that might get their attention LOL The best place you can hit them is in their wallet.
@@Luscious3174 I don't think that will be right! First because we are illegally here and is not their fault but ours and second because we are free to leave anytime .If they decide something it would be nice but talking like something will be done soon making us think we matter to them is heartless
@@freeatlast3752 I don't disagree with you. You don't even have to go back 75 years when segregation in this country was a thing too and many Americans were perfectly fine with it, despite slavery having ended over 150 years ago. Of course those who were impacted didn't get any say in it. Are today's non-citizens the new slavery in the US??? It sure looks and feels like it. Not everybody who is undocumented was in the beginning. Many came here legally and followed the rules only to end up with an employer who didn't. These people got screwed over by US employers who to this day can get away with many things simply because those who they exploit are hesitant to speak up. And yet for those who do speak up the employer still goes unpunished and their victims have no recourse. And that includes people coming here from English speaking countries with advanced degrees and speak English as their first language. Some of us also cannot go back, either because we are trying to leave the HELL we called home in the past for a shot at a normal life or simply have no home to go back to. Try to explain that to somebody who has no family, no friends, no listed address and no social security to go back to because they left their "home" when they were still a minor. There comes a point in time where the place you have been living, working, contributing and paying taxes for the last 10/20/30 years is, by the definition of the word, your actual home. Call it a second home, call it a new home, but it IS your home. For anybody who has been in this country for 20 years or more, regardless of their circumstances, citizenship should be offered and made attainable.
I am living in South padre Island TX. and need to go Houston. Way to Houston there is bordor control checkpoint at Sarita. My question is that I am on AOS and with approved I 140. But haven't get any documents to show except AOS receipt and I 140 approval letter. My I 94 has been expired. Please advice if it's enough to show the AOS receipt and I 140 approval letter to the checkpoint in order to travel to Houston TX. Awaiting your quick response. Thanks

Hi Erica, I have a question, I have a friend of mine he has been in us for over 25 years, been paying taxes working since he has been here. The only place he call home is USA. In 2002 the judge ordered him to leave the country. He didn't leave. He has no any criminal record. What can he do to reopen his case again. Because for sure he is 60 years. Going back to his home country after 25 years, I don't know where he can start from.
How about the family relative petition. My son were approved October 2019. Until now still waiting for his schedule for his visa interview. His approved when he was 14 yo, now his almost 16 yo. But did not hear anything from US embassy or immigration. Huh! So sad, we did everything we following the rules and law all huge $$ fees. But nobody prioritize those cases that pays a lot of $$$ legally processing. So so unfair for us who followed the immigration laws. 😩😩😩
Some people have been here for more than ten years and don't have a removal and don't have a case and have been clean. I pray the immigration reform is passed so they can be legalized.
If they have no criminal record how would they have went into removal in the first place? Isn’t entering into the United States illegal- hence a criminal record?
Is it possible to request for a Green Card if i have stayed in US for more than 10 years, and my Assylum case is not yet heard and i have no criminal record? Am of good standing in the Community
But what if your not in removal process never gotten a removal order, but have been living in the USA 10years and more but came her before your 16 birthday? Can someone still file for this ?
What happened really, why was she invited to the court btw? I think that is the tiebreaker because one cannot apply for cancellation of removal unless they are ordered to right?
Hi, my wife's sister filed for her in November 2016, receipt of the letter was issued to the petitioner. Up till today no communication whatsoever. Is this normal
the most difficult aspect of obtaining cancellation of removal will likely be establishing exceptional and extremely unusual hardship to a qualifying relative. That should not be a criteria if they wanted to make it easy for people.
My first NTA didn’t have date, location and time But I was later sent another notice a week later that had those. Is this applicable to me? Mind you this happened 2020
Why is it that you do not give permission for one to ask a simple question. All is consultation fee first. I'm looking for a Lawyer who can bring my asylum case closer. I've a date in 2023 and wish I could have in 2022 or late this year. Is that possible? Thanks
