Will Altered TCG prove to be successful?

Hey Frank! Equinox actually gave an extra uncut rare sheet in there - so total 7 uncut sheets!
I'm selling one of my uncut sheets to my LGS that's supporting Altered and keeping the other 6. Still deciding what to do with the other uncut sheets and signed art prints. May sell them as a bundle later on, frame a few of the uncut sheets for my collection, or just sell each sheet separately if they do become more in demand after official release.
I don't think the boxes will explode in value like Sorcery did with the Rudy pump but I don't think the boxes will lose value either. I'll be selling some of my KS boosters to recoup some money back but not in a hurry to sell them since Altered did say they are going to ramp up their marketing (English and French) closer to official release. They've said marketing now before products aren't even readily available now would not bring in much hype - I agree with their plan. Here's hoping 🤞

Sounds like a great plan. I am in no hurry to sell as I don’t see these being firesold any time soon even if there’s not a big increase in value soon either. I believe any price increase will be more organic and strong because I don’t really see this game being pumped as an investment.

I think Altered might just stick to Europe, specifically France. French companies on KS tend to stick to that region and considering 7k of their 9k backers are in France, I think it would be a good idea to focus on that.
A good recent example would be Rise TCG. That's another French game but they had way more backers in the U.S. and they still don't market anything in the English language.
They're backed by Asmodee but Asmodee just took on a ton of debt and with their other tcg Star Wars floundering, I would bet Altered is DOA.
If they so something really special on release and explain their system really well, I think they have a future.

The French focus will make this play interesting, although I do know they are trying to do roadshows and such in the US and want to have a presence here. We’ll see!
