Hey up smiles, used to hate mot days 🤭, now just a normal day, long as you look after your bike (as you do) there should not be an issue, you want to sort your oil leak out yourself it will be a great video, ride safe, Simon B 👍

I love my old girl 01 plate, unfortunately the rear main seal is gone and I have to do it this winter, fortunately I have just build a small shed for them, so I can do work on them when is raining 🙂 Now I just have to build up the courage to do it ! 😄
Hi Gaby. Big job main seal but doable, gearbox to come off and you prob best change clutch too.

@@Smiles_per_gallon01 so the bike came with all the lights and mirrors removed as well as a few other parts to make it track ready. So I got the bike with all these parts in boxes for me to reassemble. It’s going to be a process considering I have no idea what I’m doing!! Beautiful bike though, and it runs great. They even took the ABS system out which I would like to reinstall.
@Conor Dawson mate i have my abs completely removed as it failed and it's £3400 for a new one so decided to delete it and the brakes work much better although i have to be more careful in the rain.
@@Smiles_per_gallon01 I have a question man. Maybe you can help. It appears that my rear brake fluid reservoir is empty, but the brakes work fine and I havent noticed any leaking anywhere. Is this because the reservoir is only associated with ABS and since my ABS has been removed, its not relevant?

Mate to be honest I'd keep the cf moto as its new and try save some cash for the k1200rs but they are a great bike but very high maintenance. Thanks for the comment. Ride safe pal

I had a very serious crash in 2017 to which i very nearly died. I sustained horrific injuries and was in hospital for months. I'm in my 50's now kid so slowed down a lot. Thanks for the comment 👍
