The windshield is thinner on the sti for “weight reduction” and that model also comes with the intercooler sprayer the headlights are different cause they move up and down
Also the red stitching for the steering wheel, shift knob, ebrake and so on is a big thing for the STI. The cluster will also have the STI logo on it(on the rev counter i think). Hoodscoops to the eye on those models are almost the same but the STI scoop is bigger because of the bigger intercooler underneath. That's all i can think of right now
A few other things, if you throw a base WRX TR in the mix. The TR will have black mirrors instead of paint matched. As well as no side skirts at all. Manual climate controls as well, and the two piece seats that have the adjustable headrest. It also has no fog lights from the factory but should still have the wiring/connectors. Another small thing is the door handles are black instead of chrome. Of course there's more details but I won't go on forever.

You also missed that STi come with HID factory. They also don’t have a sunroof. The rear roof vane spoiler is standard only on 06-07 STi. The V9 Usdm Wrx Sti was the only gd body to receive the EJ257 in fact I believe you had to get a Forster Sti just to get that particular engine in Asia and Europe. @@sleeper.simulant7327 I already knew equal length is better overall for the EJ engines but without it, it just sounds like your typical Honda, you know its a Subaru is coming around the block if you hear that rumble

dsourn my Speed6 also has a very slight “unequal” header, it doesn’t rumble though it’s more of a growl. Subaru’s UEL setup is very different and cylinders 2/4 have long runners, excessive heat builds up due to gases taking a long time to expel which is a reason they’ll eat piston rings on that side, excessive wear occurs.

- larger top mount intercooler
- sti exhaust system
- larger fuel pump
Can’t remember if sway bars or steering setup is different or perhaps missed some other small things
Great video !
Bro i know im late but you make amazing vids
Thanks!
07 comes with a factory aux jack 😂
Yup, also longer gears and I think different diff. I also read some where that the 07 had few differences that the 06 sti heads
not all sti 6 speeds come with DCCD. but all are strong :P
I’d just buy a WRK put a Cosworth crate motor into it and a WRP10 5speed gearbox (better gearing than wrx and more durable better acceleration than the sti 6 speed) and build the diffs with exedy heavy duty clutch
3 subies! Damn bro you got $$$$$
Two words “resale value”...
I have an sti too! But i drive a wrx
A bought a 2006 sti but under is very rusted 😢 anyone knows if a wrx shell will work for me
What is that beep coming from the engine bay of the sti?
Where did u buy that body kit and what taillight are those
What's a HP... deferens and torque???? Between those two
70hp , jdm specs like uk and down under 60hp
Hey, what are those canards on the WRX?
But I like the bugeye wagon more than any sti and buy a truck or something, you don’t need 3 Subaru’s.
Bolt pattern on the wheels is different as well
What spoiler is that exactly?
Is it the same with the blobe eye sti?i mean the features u show here..how can i compare them? between wrx and sti blobeyes
04 sti is different. 05 sti is pretty clutch the same as Hawkeye
@@_AlexanderVargas glad to hear that,im getting one soon. Can't wait to join the club!🤜🤛
Buy one bro
Injectors on those years are actually the same size
STI has dual variable cams the WRX only has intake variable cam
I believe that depends on the year. The Dual was introduced in 2008
@@_AlexanderVargas that sounds right. I was thinking about my 14
Desfrute el sti. Cuidaco con el turbo banjo bolt tbe screen can get c.ogged up if you don't do freguent oil changes. Yo cambio el aceite 5w-30 every 3000 miles I ha e a 2006 sti with 125,000 miles just spt added. Saludos desde pedro
brembos just for the name, the 06/07 wrx's came with 4/2 piston calipers that are just as good as the brembos, kinda wasted your money ngl
Trailing arms
What’s the intro song?
Can the transmission be swap from sti to wrx ??
yes!
