Chris, as you already know Vietnamese do not have the mindset like the Japanese that things are made with the customer in mind; everything made by Vietnamese is low quality, not aesthetically looking, including food. I'm sure you notice that from the food packaging and even experience it everywhere in Vietnam. I've seen a video that shows bad craftsmanship the Vietnamese build homes although with Japanese design. I live in Quận 1 and I've seen homes with this low-quality build.

These both are SO funny and I LOVE watching these 2 traveling together everywhere. Max is so funny when he said “so rude.... so rude” 🤣. I love the scenery and the sound of everything there, especially the sound of the water, so relaxing. Thank you for sharing this so wonderful video. I think the manager shoulda let you guys stay free for a few days there. You both really did them a favor. Now people know where to stay when they go there. Everything are So beautiful. I don't think this was what you had expected of an expensive Onsen. Hot tub too hot, no fancy bidet, empty fridge, bed too soft, food so so and too expensive. Circle K for some good eats to satisfy your cravings to finish off a bad day. I feel exactly as you Max.
Chris seems to have made the best out of it.

Have you visited the French village (French miniature)? I think it is near Dalat, when you are there, you will feel you visit France, there are chair lifts that you can see the whole city and mountains. Sorry I can’t remember where it is, I saw it from Michael Portillo’s rail way adventure in VN.
