@@urbantactical148 thank you 🙏🏻 I use Wide Area AF (C1) and have subject detection set to Auto. For these shots I’m pretty sure I had white balance set to Natural Light. I usually manually set it for night time shooting
Nice!! I was debating between the Canon R6ii and Nikon Z6iii, still debating which one to go with, but how's the autofocusing and the handling? Nikon's autofocus tends to make me a little nervous but I heard it's way better with this camera. What are your thoughts on it?
@@GuijeSanchez Probably doesn’t help your decision, but you couldn’t go wrong with either of those! I love the AF on the Z6iii. It’s a beast. In low light it’s pretty accurate too. I haven’t had a go of the R6ii, so I can’t make a comparison. If you’re upgrading from one of those brands already, might be best to stick with it so you can use your lenses.
@@djm_image Thanks, I'm starting from nothing now. I've been looking to get back into photography for some time now and I'm hoping to choose between the two. I like the Nikon Z6iii but just weary about the AF because they said it's not as good as Canon.
Had the same dilemma… tough choice as they’re both great cameras with very similar specs. Based on my research and personal focus on nature / wildlife I went with r6ii mainly because it has an edge for animal / bird af. The rf 100-500 is a perfect balance between z 100-400 and 180-600 in terms of reach, size, speed, IQ, close focus. Canon also has competent APSC bodies in the r7 (mark ii?) plus 1.6x crop instead of 1.5x for further reach. The native f4 zooms from each manufacturer seem comparable in price, IQ, size but Nikon has an edge in choice with some 3rd party lenses and high quality affordable z 1.8 / 1.4 primes. Canon is rolling out some affordable(ish) 1.4 primes but at a snails pace. It really depends on what you shoot & need the camera to do but ultimately I’d make a decision based around the lenses you want. The r6ii seems to edge out the z6iii for wildlife (specifically birding, check Jan Wegner comparison) but otherwise they seem pretty close. Also it’s on sale for $2k so I went with the 24-105 f4 kit for $3k.
Super walkabout. I just got myself a Z6iii and can’t wait to get out there. Love your compositions and edits.

Great great video. May I ask what kind of camera you use for the POV shot? Is it GoPro? Thanks.

This video almost sold me on the z6iii. Still think I'll save for the Z8 instead.
