Making a Parametric Room in Dynamo

  • In this video, I will show you how to make a parametric room in Dynamom, I used the following new commands:
    1- Floor Types
    2- Code Block
    3- Floor.ByOutlineTypeAndLevel

      @@FirasNoori I'm thinking if it's possible to make a house model in a parametric way that can let me create some design options. What would you suggest is the way to do this. e.g. create different number of rooms or different room sizes, material options etc

      You can establish point, and eac point reprint room and let dynamo put revit elements on tbem

    Hi Firas , Thanks for the video really helpful but i have a query is it any process to link this dynamo script with another revit model??

      Hi, thank you dear, I am not fully understood the question, but if you meant that is it possible to design a different shape nor rectangle (in plan) like making an L-Shaped plan room, it will be a similar tech. And if you meant the exact code I showed here in this video, I think you cant use it to draw a cylinder, and u need to amend it, you still can make a new node to pick closed loops at any shape and make them real full details rooms or building!
