Yes but this is MIL SIM witch stands for Military Simulation they try to get as close as possible to actual military training and loadout as possible (within the lines of airsoft) and some of these guys are either In the military or were in the Military
This is called an operation. The are huge games that require uniforms to get in. The are giant military simulation games. There are a number of op series like pine planes, irene, broken home...ettc. The funding is done by who ever sets it up, they are able to pay for it because you have to pay to get in.
when i finally get up enough funds i'm going to try to buy gear like this and customize it to look like the Ghosts from Ghost Recon Future Soldier. the bandanas and everything! it's gonna be awesome! You guys are awesome!
lol im going to be starting to play airsoft and im going to train to use military tactics and gear as much as i can then hopefully make a team like this.
im sure several of these members are former military, but can anyone speculate which branch, unit or designation? Some of the training makes me wonder. (dragging your feet when stepping laterally)
Travis Haley has a video talking about airsoft as a training tool. I think if executed properly, it can be useful. I'm not taking sides, just throwing this out there.
@Andrew52690 Why not? It only takes it to the max of having fun. Me and my buddies just started a private team of 5. With Squad roles and everything. We'd like to join the mil, but there isn't one where we live. So we might as well train like this. It's super fun! Though costly to get gear, but gears aren't no.1 on our list.
Normally l think this is taking it too far but you guys do it in a very pro, very non wanabe poser way. I like seeing guys trying to be the best at a sport and training to get there. Nice vid
@Andrew52690 don't forget that if they can do this with these... they can probably do it with real firearms as well. And judging by how the guy teaches and how they train, most of them probably have military/LEO backgrounds
A lot of the guys in this team are ex-military, and Ronin is probably one of them :) We've copied a lot from these guys and from Magpul dynamics and other military videos in my team. We felt that if you are going to do it, go in with 100% and really get good at it. I guess GMR probably also feel that way xD
Thats pretty sweet...though I'm not all about their gear. Sure its Milsim but I would be that i could be just as efficient and effective in my Surplus Vietnam gear with my M14, if not better. But besides that THATS SWEET!
If I even go to an OP and find out my team is against these guys I will either beg for mercy or find a priest to give us our last rights and write my will.
These look like real soldiers just playing a game of airsoft - you will know that they are real from their manouvres, language and even the hostile terrain that they chose. You know, these men have to deal with POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS, so playing airsoft is a good wayof re-living bad events.
Really? There are little kids that watch these videos..I know little kids in 1st and 2nd grade that like to watch these GMR videos.Do you really want to encourage that kind of language GMR is a very high speed team that does not mess around. And Ronin is a very nice person.
this is how airsoft should be run! I hated seeing kids running aimlessly, they just got the shit shot out of them. That isn't enjoyable, and won't make them want to return to the game. But this is great! I'm going to try and get some teams together, see what's out there.
Heh, all you guys, these guys spend there time researching....I was in Iraq for Four years, like BlackJack, he is the GRM CO for a reason, he uses Military Tactics and Stratigies.
@driftinsti Yep thats true, if you can do this you can do it with real guns. I have played airsoft 10 years now, and i have been in military but never fired a pistol. Well 1 month ago i went with friend who has a glock to a shooting range and we tested how i managed ´practical shooting coldfeet. And i got above average points even never have trained with an realsteel gun, only with an airsoft gun.
Becuase they want to get better, this is how they have fun why should anyone dictate the way you play airsoft , this team just happens to think differently than everyone else
i hate comments like this. What do you defined as fun? might not be the same as them... try being open minded man! you're a big reason people judge IMO.
And on top of that, watching their training is super encouraging & makes me want to train harder. -Izze
Yes but this is MIL SIM witch stands for Military Simulation they try to get as close as possible to actual military training and loadout as possible (within the lines of airsoft) and some of these guys are either In the military or were in the Military
i agree i used to be one of those kids but now im going to start playing in an professional manner and your right it is more enjoyable that way

Yeah i said cringy stuff 3 years ago too. ill let this pass
Damn, those special forces guys are good.
Chris Costa and Travis Haley from Magpul Dynamics must be your guys heros. lol
I hope people know to make a team like this you need fertile ground, you need popularity, and people who have this kind of devotion.
Love it! At 1:08 what is the make and model M203 Launcher????
lol im going to be starting to play airsoft and im going to train to use military tactics and gear as much as i can then hopefully make a team like this.
i think when you r one with the team you r ready to join the army, damn these guys r awesome!!!!
what backpacks do they use? i notice it attaches to their vest?!
im sure several of these members are former military, but can anyone speculate which branch, unit or designation? Some of the training makes me wonder. (dragging your feet when stepping laterally)
The guy was dragging his feet. Ronin said not to.
iGame360fficial He did drag, drag when he should have been step, drag

what kind of motor or you using in your guns?
How many of your guys are prior service?
@Andrew52690 don't forget that if they can do this with these... they can probably do it with real firearms as well. And judging by how the guy teaches and how they train, most of them probably have military/LEO backgrounds
Were do u guys get all ur gear ???
A lot of the guys in this team are ex-military, and Ronin is probably one of them :)

What kind of sight does blackjack have.
how do you set up your targets?
It's like any other sport or hobby, I'd have to say Airsoft is a lot of both.
Is the a selection process before the can join the team?
Are any off you ex military or current?
this is why airsoft is better than paint ball
There are no limits to airsoft...
what is the name of yours Bags?pantac?website for buy?
Thanks a lot.

Thats pretty sweet...though I'm not all about their gear. Sure its Milsim but I would be that i could be just as efficient and effective in my Surplus Vietnam gear with my M14, if not better. But besides that THATS SWEET!

@Andrew52690 hahaha i totally agree but either airsofting is their or they r just hardcore
who the hell is this Ronin?, some kind of Rambo-Costa-freaky-airsoft guy or an ex-military.
@kyrin448 A company called "Did it myself with spray paint" most likely lol ;)
These look like real soldiers just playing a game of airsoft - you will know that they are real from their manouvres, language and even the hostile terrain that they chose. You know, these men have to deal with POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS, so playing airsoft is a good wayof re-living bad events.
More like familiarity to keep our minds busy doing the stuff we miss

You Sould Get A Sniper On The Team
I'm going to go with GMrangers....even though I am a huge fan on Seal Team-6. Airsoft is going to take over the world.
The camera man needs to get his head out of his fourth point of contact
Really? There are little kids that watch these videos..I know little kids in 1st and 2nd grade that like to watch these GMR videos.Do you really want to encourage that kind of language
GMR is a very high speed team that does not mess around. And Ronin is a very nice person.
@driftinsti most if not all are ex military.
go to Operation Lion claws and be milsim there and train.
LOL he threw down his secondary weapon HAAHAHAHHAHA
this is how airsoft should be run!

@DAOfanatic , Amen.
Nice vidéo guys but... It's just Airsoft !
Kids just like a fastpaced game, this tactical gameplay isn't for everyone ;)

Becuase they want to get better, this is how they have fun why should anyone dictate the way you play airsoft , this team just happens to think differently than everyone else
It is fun for these guys.
It's their main hobby and most of them are ex-Mil. so for them it's a way to stay fit, in shape and alert.
i hate comments like this. What do you defined as fun? might not be the same as them... try being open minded man! you're a big reason people judge IMO.
@snarfmonkey911 It is true. But it's a matter of preference. A lot prefer realism nowadays. And I'm one of them. Sorry.
These guys lol. Soup sandwich’s.
No, they're wanna' he
