i cant believe that every track i had listened to from hurts is good . and i only discovered them a few days ago i have just got the album great cant wait for when the rest of the british music lovers catch on to them and make them top band as they should be.
This song became from "simple pop" into "emotional electro" hehe. Well, I think when Hurts make a cover to some songs, they make songs to become much more "soul" and more emotional kind. As they gave another life to Kylie Minogue song "Confide in me"
Also check out Hurt's cover for the song "Live like horses", song by itself is great (Elton John after all), however, with some magic of Hurts it became completely breathtaking, shivering and more modern.

@bfcricky well she got a lot of promotion from vh1, that's how i knew about her, but you are right hurts is going to stick more around the music industry, but she is somewhat fresh too, so good luck to both bands :)

@DundyLion12 Diana Vickers......the name just makes me laugh XD she'll never be as big as Depeche Mode, Keane, and Coldplay etc. these have the potential to be that big. People only know who vickers is because of the bloody x factor.
okay, i was really disappointed with what they made of confide in me, but this is truely offending me. cathy dennis wrote an almost perfect tune, ms vickers did a splendid version of it - and then this... i actually own the happiness-album, but know i seriously consider erasing it from my itunes. damn. wished i never clicked on the link to this site.
Maybe I'm the only one confused, but the perspective of the singers are completely different. People insult and throw sludge at pop and mainstream music but people get a reality check. Yeah, some of it is a piece a dung but music in general is to take in and then get what you can from it. Nobody likes everything they've ever listened to. Diana's perspective is of a rather emotional almost flighty female who can't stop running back to a guy who's bad for her. Hurts' is clearly not about that.
i'm a huge Hurts fan but . not really a fan of this. it's good (better than the original IMO) but theo goes a bit flat in a few parts. it does show that he has a good voice though but the occasional flatness is bothersome lol

few weeks later- this has grown on me but again the occasional flatness is kinda distracting lmao
With singing live he is better than Anette Olzon (old singer for Nightwish). She screeches worse than he does at the concerts she did.
