- SoFi Technologies Inc. Chief Executive Officer Anthony Noto talks about how the firm reported a profit for the first time. He sees 75% growth in its financial services segment for the year ahead. Noto also expects the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates only four times this year. He speaks on "Bloomberg Technology."

The second stock that I love after Wise due to a capable charisma leader.
The fact that Sofi sold off big twice and CEO Anthony Noto added positions have helped me with the conviction.
This video is convincing that Anthony knows his edge.
I’m now regretting seriously last week for not accumulating another extra 1000 shares as my original plan as I was waiting for it to hit the support $7.29 again but it didn’t.
I will entered position at market closing.
I waited till the end for my desired price despite it was midnight for my country.
Glad to support an interesting innovative company.

I sold off half at high $9.05, due to the technical analysis and weak buyer strength.
Sold the other half two days ago, when I realized the major support broken, lack of signiifcant volume and broader market sold off.
Since then, bought and sold a couple of ties for quick profit too.
Does it mean I don't trust Sofi? Absolutely not.
Knowing Sofi has always been volatile and heavily manipulated, I bought and sold when it's in this kind of manipulation state.
As I can always buy and hold long term once it started its big bullish campaign again.
The only reason I transitioned from 100% long term to mixture of trading + long term.
Sure, I can just hold and DCA to a better position.
But, knowing what I know about technical analysis, I would be able to maximie my profit while waiting for it to jump base $9.
With interest rate indecisive situation, this is expected.
I profited off from right out of the news too, before it massive sold off.
Good job Mr Noto and the Sofi team.

I think Noto is brilliant and SoFi looks very promising. But I do wish he could give more detail on the Tech Platform. For me it's the difference between a good business and a great business. Does it deserve a tech valuation? Not sure how this can be proven without much more detail. Also not sure why it's always lumped together with Financial Services.

Agree. Eventually more long term investors will see the value in the company and not sell.
shorts are honestly doing long term holders a huge favor. So many opportunities to accumulate shares, eventually the unassailable financial performance of the company will win out and we'll have some nice full positions.
@@cloudz83 Depends on your timeline and when people needs funds in a timely manner, as someone retired it is getting tired of not seeing the true value of a company that I can do small withdrawals on for retirement income. It's better if shorts didn't exist in the first place. These guys are not investing, it's really gambling with this short long options game playing.

Sold 100 at $9 to save some profits. Been burnt before. Still holding the rest.
The massive short interest is a blessing in disguise to retail, keeping the price down at levels where you can accumulate. As SoFi gains profitability and members while eating legacy bank market share the stock will explode. S&P500 inclusion on the horizon is also bullish. Happily sitting on around 500 shares, adding to other positions for now but nibbling on price weakness :) Also, Noto and his team are S-tier management. Can't go wrong with SoFi.

@capquest4488 if your time horizon is at least 3-5 years, any price under $10 is still fair. Buy more on dips below 9.
