    I'm 47 and grew up right down the road from there. Used to be a lot more building there lion , tiger cages, train cars and a complete bus. My mom said she used to be able to hear the tigers and lions coming from there. Remind me of childhood ,love this thanks.

      Thanks! Don’t worry - I’m always quite safe with how I do things (despite how it looks sometimes). Haha

    Prime setting for a 1980's teen slasher flick. Very cool location, creepy AF. 👍✌

    Spooktacular! Super creepy! Though I was disappointed by the lack of penis graffiti.

      I promise there will be more penis graffiti in future videos. My favorite part of explores as well. Lol

    Hey just found this video, it’s not the actual circus just most of his possessions, a lot of it is buried.

    • @ObscuristTourist
      @ObscuristTourist  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the info! Couldn’t find much on it, but gathered this was just old stuff the circus had kicking around. 🤗

      @@ObscuristTourist yeah you can use history Ariel maps to track the site. It was established in the late 50s for main storage of the circus. That massive field used to have 2 standing buildings. Near the main house you can still see the concrete base for the bear and lion cages. A 400 bear mauled a tiger trainer ( he survived ) no one’s died at the sight but lots of ghost hunters go to it 😂.

      @@okieg8960 nice info. thanks. Note to self: No 👻, just creepy, rapist, homeless people. I feel much better. Would you happen to know if there are any really, really old buildings that pre-date 1830 around there. Looking for buildings that old that you can take nails from is not easy to find! Thanks again.

    So my best friend lives on a property that borders the abandoned part, and no joke she has lived there for more than 10 years. A couple of months ago her property caught on fire due to some kids being back near the circus area and that is how she found out that she lives on the border of a veritable nightmare lol

    That’s a manure spreader. The paddles on the back throw the manure on fields

    Hello, I live in Warr Acres, OK. and have been trying to find very old pre 1830's buildings or houses of any kind, but creepy history would be great! Anyway, looking as close to home as possible. I will travel though. Can't wait to check out more of your videos, thanks

    funny enough i actually walked to this place, since it isnt too far from my house. didnt see anything scary, but i did almost fall and slip because it was very muddy out there at the time i visited.

      Would seem a lot more tolerable with the leaves off the trees. But … I could imagine the mud was a pain.

    I think most of the shit you found was from the 70s and 80s. I grew up in Edmond, BTW.
    And a "Caravan" is a series of vehicles, not "a" vehicle.

      My thought to on the age, but.. I did try to find out more about the Nog Dry Ice. I searched all the way back to the start of dry ice looking till i was ready to throw my computer through a window. AI was really getting to me, anyway, not a thing about it as a brand or a company. Must have gone under quick to be left out of all the history i went through. Sounds like it didn't get off to a great start at first could be why.

    i live down the street from here, and the "hauntings" are 100% just homeless people telling you to leave their place of temporary residence lol.

  • @Pickinflowers1999
    @Pickinflowers1999 ปีที่แล้ว

    Most likely homeless people squatting there. It will probably be a subdivision soon.
