I went on a home stay for two weeks in Japan, and the trip to school was a 20 minute car ride, twenty minute train ride, five minute walk to the bicycle station, and maybe twenty to thirty minutes to school on the bicycle. Much more exciting than my twenty minute stretch on the highway to my school in America.
cool i love your unifrom, it takes me about 30 mins to get to school and thats just walking, have you meet new people like "friends" i hope you have a great time
That's the cutest uniform I've ever seen in my entire life XD I lived in the Caribbean for 7 years and had 4 different uniforms, they come no where near that one!
Takes me an hour to get to school (taking 2 buses), and between 1-2 hours to get home (also taking 2 buses). Getting on the bus has become a mission, since it's always soo crowded. Sometimes to the point that people look like sardines squished together...
depends - they subways can be pretty rough too depending on the line but they are rarely as bad as the yamanote. I'm lucky that my subway is usually mostly used by high schoolers and not by that many business men.
Lucky!! I have to wake up at 6:05 and be at the bus at 6:40. Then my American school starts at 7:15!! It sucks except on Fridays!! We get a hour sleep if you can drive or get a ride to school. The buses come at normal time still!!
I'm in normal classes - no special treatment! I sometimes wish I was with other exchange students but this way I guess I'm more likely to be in the real thing and get better at Japanese.
I wouldn't mind having that as a trip to school every morning, especially through that playground! Do all the girls have to wear skirts or can some wear trousers as well?
whoooooo!!!!!! 7:15 that's early,i'm in highschool and i wake up at 7:30am en leave at 8:00am and it takes me like 10 or 15 min. with my bike to get there and then i still got time to have a chat with my friends before going to classe and i'm realy happy about that because i'm not realy a morning person :)
No, I don't think you need to worry about length! They are more likely to get mad about it being too short than too long for girls. But the girls have laxed a lot in the last years so no worries.
Lol 20 min after I get up, I look like the walking dead :P don't understand how u could be so energetic at 7:16 in the morning :P I'm thinking of going there next year for say 3 months and maybe a year of university in Japan.
i wanna live there so bad TT^TT and have those uniforms and WOW i have to get up at 4 am cause i take like 2 hours to get ready and blah but i have to be at my bus at 6:20 am and school STARTS at 7:00 am - 3 - i usually pitch black when i get to school
@PowerdByAsus1 If i thought like you I'd never go to school at all. Lol. It takes me an hour to DRIVE to my university everyday because its in the next city over. I live in Texas, but go to school in New Mexico. Its not bad in the morning, but in the afternoon when I'm tired it feels like an eternity. Hahah
@Live4DreamMusic i was gonna say the same thing. i live in the UK too and school from home is only 20 mins and somehow i am either complainig or late :/
OMGGGG i dont go to school D: so i dunno im just a teen model :D ! always travel! yr so lucky yet in my view quite unlucky yr sch so far ~ if it was me i probably fainted along the way or get lost :D !
Unlike everyone else,I'll say I like my Bulgarian school XD No uniforms hehe. But I'm curious how you can stand going to school with such short skirts every single day.
Takes me a 45 min trip to get to my school and I'm in NewYork USA -.- I think I prefer Japan better then America and I'm Arabic ^.* It Just Seems Legit way too beautiful in Japan
I lost your channel years ago and wracked my brains searching a a bunch of times before with no success but today it actually worked !! やった !

wow summer in japan looks really nice id love to live there one day, good luck with the rest of your japanese adventures.
Gawd I'm so jealous. If I lived in an urban area loge that, I would gladly spend an hour walking to school. There's so much to see!
In Japan, it is common to go to public high school of distance more than an hour even if there is another public high school near immediately.
cool i love your unifrom, it takes me about 30 mins to get to school and thats just walking, have you meet new people like "friends" i hope you have a great time
Your watch is so adorable!!
That's the cutest uniform I've ever seen in my entire life XD I lived in the Caribbean for 7 years and had 4 different uniforms, they come no where near that one!

I've got to take an hour long bus ride to get to my school. I feel some of your feelings.
The uniforms in Japan are so cute! I love the plaid skirt
You totally fangirled at the thought of an occasional punker walking down that hallway.
Your skirt is SOOO cute. Oh my god. Some of the schools have those long black skirts with no pleats and they're all sailor-ish.You got lucky!

Japan seems very clean and I would love to walk through those streets :) I'm American, and my walk to my school is only 5 minute walk away :l
wow those trains are even more crowded thn the trains in seoul, crazy
I'm in normal classes - no special treatment! I sometimes wish I was with other exchange students but this way I guess I'm more likely to be in the real thing and get better at Japanese.
and i think a 20 minute walk home from my school in the UK is bad... what do you do if you're ill? You can't exactly take yourself home easily :\
aaa Mejiro station! I usually stay in Shin-Okachimachi. It's a nice station isn't it!
I wouldn't mind having that as a trip to school every morning, especially through that playground!
Do all the girls have to wear skirts or can some wear trousers as well?
For some reason I really love those uniforms. I think it's because of the skirt xD I've always loved skirts like that.
It looks so calm and quiet, all the time...
why are those shoes painful?? Do you have to walk in heels??
This is cool ! But it needs a lot of courage for me to talk to myself with a camera on my hand ! XD
Your giggle is cute
ur uniforms makes me drool i want to go to school over there sooooo bad
whoooooo!!!!!!
I would die walking an hour to school that early, LOL. It takes me 5 minutes to get to my school.
55 minutes?!
They should have like public school buses or something that's crazy!
No, I don't think you need to worry about length! They are more likely to get mad about it being too short than too long for girls. But the girls have laxed a lot in the last years so no worries.
I feel that i need to workout a bit before going to japan for the exchange program, LOL
Some schools are more liberal what uniforms are concerned, but generally thigh-highs are a no go. Same thing goes for loose socks.
Itterasshai is the reply people say when someone says ittekimasu. duh
Ittekimasu works aswell btw. Means: I'm going
so cool ! i very love japan and i like u
Lol 20 min after I get up, I look like the walking dead :P don't understand how u could be so energetic at 7:16 in the morning :P I'm thinking of going there next year for say 3 months and maybe a year of university in Japan.

hell i probally were walking shoes to school and swap them once I arrive at school .
i wanna live there so bad TT^TT and have those uniforms and WOW i have to get up at 4 am cause i take like 2 hours to get ready and blah but i have to be at my bus at 6:20 am and school STARTS at 7:00 am - 3 - i usually pitch black when i get to school
your uniform looks surprisingly cool on you :P
Whoa I'm kinda glad my school is only a 20 minutes walk away xD
I mean yeah it's boring but I can get much more sleep which I really need :'D lol
knowing me, i'd probably get lost on my way to school, and my way back home. lol not very good.
Do they show you where to to go, or ...?
55 minutes? all it takes for me to get to school is 5 to 10 minutes on my bike!
thanks! 4 years roughly....
@PowerdByAsus1 If i thought like you I'd never go to school at all. Lol. It takes me an hour to DRIVE to my university everyday because its in the next city over. @NessyNerd There is no easy way i'm afraid. :( You just have to put the effort in to learn it. :D
do you buy the uniforms in school? or is it separate?
If you get to school at 8:10 then what time does school start?
How did you find your way to school?
I would get lost so quickly....
I want to go to Japan sooooo badly *.*
I only see knee high socks... Are thigh highs allowed, or are they just not?

Nice uniform... and HOW CAN YOU FIND TO SCHOOL! :d
Do schools in Japan require to cut ur hair a certain length? I've heard about some asian schools that do that. and my hair is down to my butt @_@
