'In memoriam David Sanger' Op.634 by Barrie Cabena - played by Martin Stacey in Westminster Abbey

This live recording is the world-premiere performance of 'In memoriam David Sanger' given in Westminster Abbey during the summer of 2013.
David Sanger was responsible for my 'Totentanz - Hommage a Petr Eben' (commissioned by Choir & Organ magazine) being selected for the FRCO syllabus for 12 years and was a good friend. Barrie Cabena wrote this piece following David's tragic suicide in 2010 and it was fitting to perform it at the Abbey as part of that year's AFNOM festival (Annual Festival of New Organ Music) which I'd been running for six years by the time.
