    Thanks for posting! It’s great to see you two working in the shop together 👍 my son is 3 he still likes hanging out in my shop but he still has some years before he really gets into building projects with me. My nephew and I swapped a built up Honda XR 120cc into a Honda CR big wheel frame a few years back, the bike turned out awesome and we both had a great time 🙂 Take care

      Hanging out is how it starts! Looks like you'll have no shortage of projects for him!

    This is really cool! I learned to weld when I was 40!!
    Absorb everything you can and remember: If you mess it up,
    the first time is not a mistake - it's a learning experience!!!
    Oh and if you doing something and a helmet is suggested, WEAR IT!!!
    TRUST ME on this. Have a great time. Can't wait to see it run!!!

    Welcome back. Well chosen project, Rat Rods are a American symbol to the public that you don't need to be GMC of Ford to make a vehicle. Never had a "Rat" pass buy on the street without breaking my neck to get a longer look.
    Only one name fits: (Drago Rat Rod) Never mind its a kart.....It's a Rat, thats all that maters.

      It's amazing what some people are putting together once they are past the name brand hang ups and build with what they have... hopefully this will continue the trend!

    just watched these in reverse order. I like the new intro, where you walk off and your channel name shows up on screen. I really dig the fact that your videos don't follow a set formula and seem to be edited/formatted diferently, some channels seem like you're watching the same video over and over...they're just working on something different. You guys have time lapse, cinematic stuff, some stuff set to music and sometimes you do some funny stuff...lot of stuff going on! keep it up!

      Drago Werx Safety Glasses should be worn at all times when using power tools and while using striking tools such as hammers. Gloves should be worn especially while using angle grinders.

    What frame was used in this build? Thanks

    • @DragoWerx
      @DragoWerx  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We think it's a Yerf Dog, we haven't found an exact picture of one like it, but have found some with the same design on the side bars that are two seat.

      It's an older Yerf Dog frame. Don't know what the model number is but here's a link to an intact one www.purplewave.com/auction/140709/item/D1045

    How much did all of it cost you?

    • @DragoWerx
      @DragoWerx  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hard to say, some of the stuff we had, but engine/torque converter/wheels and tires was the bulk of the expense...maybe $500 with all the odds and ends; brake, shift knob, pedals etc. Frame was a $50 FB Market find.

    Great project where did you get the front wheels I want to build a nostalgic dragster with my boys

    • @DragoWerx
      @DragoWerx  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Northern Tool www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200660525_200660525
      If we did it again we'd do the Ironton 16" with solid tire and cut the tire off for the rim (we couldn't find the 16" Ironton with a pneumatic tire). We have a set of 12" Ironton's but they looked too small but they are much better wheels.
      We'd love to see the dragster when you and your boys get it done!
