As the deaf senior over 65 age but now retired since my birthday on December 2013, I reply on SSDI under my deceased father’s name as surviving daughter in my family since August 1990. Will I receive the stimulus check adding to SSDI benefits? In latest update news, I have heard that Mainland China helps Italy and European nations by sending these medical supplies in recuse missions in humanitarian assistance. Why doesn’t our United States of the America ask Mainland China for sending the medical supplies in its humanitarian assistance? Well, I acknowledge that USA has more 82,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases to suppress both of Mainland China and Italy in a fact.

I understand that IRS uses 2018 and 2019 earning statements for SSA, SSDI, and SSI recipients (annual forms) to determine eligibility for stimulus money.

I wondered, what about Uber and Lyft drivers or any independent workers will be able to receive unemployment benefits?

Hello, I work for Social Security. Mel was incorrect about 1099's for people who only receive SSI. Since SSI is not taxable, 1099's do not exist for them. 1099's are only created to show taxable income.

Everyone keeps doubting whether or not people on SSI will get a stimulus check. Senator Grassley said that 'EVERYONE' with a valid Social Security number who makes less than $75k will get the check. It even says in the 'Section By Section' outline document on the Senate Finance Committee's website in section 2201 that SSI recipients are eligible. Yet, people are still DOUBTING since SSI isn't mentioned in the regular bill text.
