The fact that you are sharing your journey is going to help someone. My wish is for you to see this sometime and realize you too need help. I am blessed to have people in my life that knew my life was worth it. Yours is too. I'm coming up on 11yrs sober it truly makes life easier. God bless you. You'll be in my prayers.
I feel you brother. Mine wasn’t just alcohol, i was on x, bars(Xanax) just to escape hurt from my failed marriages from being deployed. I suffer from the same as you. From a fellow veteran you are more important than you think. Just telling your story alone impacts people!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏 keep your head up brother!!!
Remember. You are important. Your life matters. If and when you need help, that only makes you human - and every other human who has ever existed has had to ask for help just like you in one way or another. Thank you for making it home and thank you for your service.
I adore your spirit ❤ Everytime i hear this song , it makes me so emotional, Im a recovering heroin addict It took me 9 years to get it right , i been sober for 4 years 3 months ❤
This song is HEAVY!!! One person unloading their baggage is one thing, but this song shows the weight so many individuals carry not only through the artists, but the fans, the reactors, everybody. You don't have to be the one with a problem to be affected by their problem, I've experienced it from both sides of the coin being the one fkd up and ruining shit, and also the one watching friends and family destroying themselves or dying. You got my sub
May God continue to keep you and know that you are not alone….thank you for all you have done and doing…keep on spinning and expressing the real….love you……
I keep on coming back to this video every time I feel like opening that bottle again. Thank you for the strength you give others and the openness of your heart man. I appreciate you. From one veteran to another thank you for your perspective and kindness. Breaking that stigma brother!
Love you, brother, USN vet, so i get how you feel. PTSD sucks. I got it, too. Amazing you are putting yourself out there. Im on my last rope, but you give me hope. I continue because of my military brothers besides you. I've been there and done that. My story is different then your's. Thank you again.
You doing good brother, love that you show your feelings. This is a new Chapter in your life , but just trust your listeners and you will be fine. From Sweden

That first girl is Kelsie Watts. She has such a Mariah Carey vibe. She is so good! This revamped Megmix is so GOOD! The original one will always be my favorite though. Thank you for your service, Sir. We patriots APPRECIATE all of your sacrifices to protect our freedoms. I love this vulnerable and real reaction. I truly hope your finding happiness and joy in life now. ❤
Addiction is one of the most toxic relationships. It masqarades as a best friend while it slow dances you into a living hell. Some of us wake up and unfortunately some of us don't.
I grew up with a family that drinking until drunk was the normal. The cycle has to be broken. Young King we see ya and we hear you. Keep holding. Take it one day at times Going to be 🙏🙏🙏🙏 for you Keep fighting
Hey man how you doing ? you got balls stating this channel respect bro ! going through shit myself but hey thats life man eh. just reaching out to see your ok, life is tuff man hang in there and yeah Dax is killing it and all though beautiful artists. I love this song and video. Saw many fellow sailors, marines and soldiers drown in a bottle. I don't know your story but from vet to vet if you need to talk, hit me up
Dude man first time seeing your reaction. I recently made it a year and relapsed. It’s like it never went away, actually drink more now than I did before I quit. I’m working on it though with GODS help. Thank you for posting this
I got a drinking problem, I don't call it alcoholism or addiction, I know have physical addiction because will get withdrawals after awhile, but yeah I rarely get actually drunk, mainly just spend too much money on, has affected some relationships in ways, got liver and kidney disease lol... position I'm living in currently tho I don't have any intentions of quitting, if I wanted to quit I could basically no problem, I don't agree with whole "addiction is a disease" mentality, I've quit multiple things multiple times, like I was shooting n smoking meth for like half a year, cooking it...would do all day everyday, would be awake like 5 days at a time all cuz chick met online lol, once left her I just stopped, first few days were rough as hell physically but didn't go looking for or anything, I've done a couple times recreationally since, didn't get back into, I have been diagnosed with personality disorder so maybe I'm just built different but yeah, which that chick used me as inspiration while in rehab n got clean, has 2 kids n married now etc...mind over matter, I don't agree with how people treat substance abuse. Now being a veteran is some whole other shit, completely different story, got some close friends that are vets n I've been the only one they've told stories to...
