I have heard and read by several music experts that 1983 was probably the best in pop music history. I have no argument with that at all. I really the format here doing all the hits in chronological order. I also appreciate the inclusion of tracks I was not aware of. The duet between Paul Anka and Peter Cetera is absolutely incredible! Thanks for sharing!
1983 was the year of the 2nd British Invasion. And over 90 of these songs are by non-American acts. I remember listening to American Top 40 one week that year and Casey listed all the various foreign acts in the countdown. What great music! What a time to be alive!
