- Story Of Lord Dattatreya
Dattatreya is a unified incarnation of the supreme Trinity - Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Dattatreya is portrayed with three heads, with the Vishnu head facing forward and the Brahma and Shiva heads facing right and left respectively. He is often depicted having six hands, four dogs, standing in front of the divine cow and wish-fulfilling tree.
Anasuya was a noble woman, an embodiment of chastity who was devoted to her husband and always followed the path of Dharma. Legend has it that Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva decided to take a test of Anasuya. They appeared at her Ashram in the form of saints at her ashram. As Sage Atri was not in the ashram, she attended to their needs. The saints told her that they were performing a different kind of austerity and wanted someone who would serve them food naked.
Anasuya could not refuse food to the saints. So, she agreed to serve food naked. So powerful was the Tapa Shakti of Anasuya that her purity turned the three saints into newborn infants. Anasuya suddenly felt like she is a mother and fed the three babies with milk from her breast. Thus, she gave alms to the Trimurtis in the way they wanted it. Soon Atri Maharshi returned and realized that the three babies were Trimurtis who had come to fulfill the wish of Anasuya. It is said that Goddess Saraswati, Goddess Lakshmi, and Goddess Parvati then appeared before Anasuya and pleaded to her to restore the Trimurtis to their original form. She was offered a boon by the goddesses. As a boon she asked Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva to be born as her sons. The three gods were born as Dattatreya to Anasuya.

‘I’m alive’. This is the biggest gift you have. Life is the biggest gift, not your emotions and other things, not even your experiences. The main and most important thing is that ‘You’ are alive!’ You are alive today. That’s the core matter.
That’s the fundamental awareness. That you’re living; your heart is beating. You have all the potential of life. This awareness is enough for you to be stable. If you’re stable all the time, nobody can shake you.
Maybe there are things happening in the world, good or bad, but nobody can shake you if you’re stable. Otherwise, everybody can make you jump like a monkey, isn’t it? Society brings various situations in life all the time. If we are unstable, we will be just like a monkey jumping from branch to branch, still not satisfied.
Hence, stability is fundamental. How can you be stable? Acceptance.
This path of Raja yoga is very simple but also very difficult. Difficult because the most difficult thing in life is to accept ourselves. We can accept anybody outside, but trying to accept ourself fully, with all your weaknesses and strengths is very difficult.
You have weaknesses, desires, feelings, inclinations, tendencies, vices, and strengths; you have everything. With all this, you say, “Okay, I’m fine.” Then life will go on, but you’ll be stable.
Acceptance, awareness, and flexibility - these are the fundamentals of the path of Raja Yoga. Nobody can shake you. Storms will come and go; you’ll survive. You’ll be stable. You have the right to be stable. You have the right to be you. That’s why my core of teaching is ‘Be you’.

Acc to Her holiness Shri Mataji Nirmala devi who started a spiritual moment called sahaj yoga.... She says that Dattatreya is Adiguru and the one who told about the way to attain self awareness (atma sakashtkar).... Now in kaliyuga since all those methods can't be practiced by seekers(due to lack of time). She meditated in Nargol and found a very simple method to attain Self awareness(through kundalini jagran)

The first story mentioned here is correct. That Maa Ansuya made all 3 sages into new born babies to fulfill their wish. It's said if we chant "Duttbavni" for 52 times on every Thursday, our wish gets fulfilled. It also helps financial stability and makes inside chakras more powerful 🙏👌👌 Thank you for making these wonderful channel and spreading wisdom about our sanatan dharm 🙏

in the Srimad Bagavatam it is explained that Anasuya together with Atri Muni (a son of Lord Brahma) had 3 sons namely Soma (a partial incarnation of Lord Brahma, Dattatreya a partial incarnation of Lord Vishnu and Durvasa Muni a partial incarnation of Lord Siva. so it is about 3 divine personalities of 3 Devas
