Wish the Outlaws had lasted to the Edge & Christian, Dudleys, Hardy Boyz era. Having that one extra top tier Tag Team to add to that craziness would have been perfect.
New Age Outlaws were a huge burst of energy, every segment they were in during the Monday night war. WCW had nothing like that. They kept people from turning the channel.
@@PsychicVampyreHunter maybe legendary was not the right word, but the smoking guns was by far the best team in their era, and same goes for Billy and Chuck each team won multiple tag team championships.
I remember the outlaws helping out Shawn Michaels and HHH a few times before they were officially in DX. The groundwork was already laid for them to eventually join. It's a shame we only got to see all 6 members together once on an episode of Raw.
The Outlaws were the best tag team while the WWE had a terrible tag team division. Once the TLC era happened the Outlaws were below average and even tag teams like Too Cool were more over then them.
It's because by that point DX was done. Everybody loves the Gimmick, but that Stable was destroyed with the Corporation and all that. Losing both Leaders (HBK and HHH) ended it. Outlaws became a reminder of what we lost.
I don’t agree with the comment about needing the big push to get over. Steve Austin got over on his own before Vince started pushing him. So no you can’t use that as an excuse. Billy had enough of a push to make it work
False. You can be a fanboy, but you don't have to lie. DX was a BIG part of the reason they were over like they were. It's a reason why they had the most forgettable careers when DX ended.
@stephenjones1488 they wanted them because they fit CLOWN show. They were okay before DX, but DX took them to a completely different level of what you call being "over af". You can't tell me what I witnessed with my own eyes, so go find somebody else to rewrite history with.

Billy Gunn is underapreciated....
Crazy he's part of 3 Legendary tag teams

The internet pushed these guys so hard on the youth of America at the time!
🔥 🔥 commodity DX
Key figures in the evolution of "attitude era."
Before they joined DX I was like they need to go with Dx
I remember the outlaws helping out Shawn Michaels and HHH a few times before they were officially in DX. The groundwork was already laid for them to eventually join. It's a shame we only got to see all 6 members together once on an episode of Raw.
6? Rick Rude, HBK, HHH, Outlaws, Chyna, X Pac. That's 7 Members
Could've sworn Rude was already gone by then.@@justinlast2lastharder749
Road Dogg just said he knew Shawn Michaels had Vince by cahones!
"For whatever reason he did"
outlaws best tag team ever in my mind
The outlaws. Vs. cactus 🌵 jack. And chainsaw charlie. Was a slobber knocker. They pushed the dumpster off the ramp. With them in it

Road dogg used to take Meth, Crack and LSD during this period. Go back and watch his matches, his in-ring work is poor.
The outlaws never last without DX. I don’t understand how he can separate the two. Maybe now that he’s sober he sees it better.
They were basically a one trick pony.
Thot matches was trash tho loved road dog on mic
