I've written under another Bible Project posting concerning Egyptian slaves - recent archeological diggings have shown that Egyptian slaves were well fed, there is evidence of fairly good medical care. The point of slavery isn't how slaves are treated - it's the idea of slavery itself!
may we plan and make ready but know that our Lord has already determined the outcome and may our faith and hope be in that truth!
