In today's Photoshop tutorial, I show you how to quickly export your layers into images. Photoshop offers this functionality out of the box and allows you to save layers as pngs, jpegs, pdfs, psds, and more.
Have been pounding my head on my keyboard for a week trying to figure this out on how to separate 2k images from one psd file. Best tutorial every on the subject. Thank you!
Short and sweet. It has all the information you need in less than 2 minutes. Thanks man.
That little bit about "older versions have this under scripts" was exactly what I was trying to figure out. Thanks! Using this to make a 2d rig in Blender.
After all these years. Best tutorial out there.
Exactly what I needed. Super fast no BS thats how a good tutorial should be thanks a lot! :)
I like how you just cut to the tutorial and didn't waste time with self-promotion. Good job!
Best ps tutorial ever and that's not an opinion. It's a fact. Well done my guy!

I want to save the entire layer, including the part that's been cut out of the frame. How do I do that?
I used to do it all the time but I haven't used Photoshop in forever and I forgot how I used to do it

how i do this in gimp2 ?
great tutorial! well done!
thanks for you very useful
this helped me a lot!! bravo!!
I was doing this manually, with keyboard shortcuts lol, I had a file with 90 images as layers that I basically just adjusted the crop, started saving them and by muscle memory I closed the whole document without saving instead of deleting the layer. Thanks for the time save for round 2 and the future!
thank you!
Thank you! Is there any way to keep the effects applied with this method? When I don't merge effects to the layers, this method exports the images as they are in the layers; but when I merge the effects, I lose the color and vibrance that I wanted. Is there a way?
thank you , that's relay helpful
Hard working people like you prevent world wars.
Thanks a lot
Thank you 🙏🏾 ❤
Thanks! Simple task but I couldn't find it!
very usefull.. thanks
Very helpful 👍👍☺️
this is gold, thanks gurú
thank you
Thanks man you saved my day
"Visible Only" checkbox tells me you don't have to get rid of unwanted layers. Right?
you are a blessing
Thanks a lot brother
Is there a way to do this while getting rid of prefix names? I just want my files to be named 0 to 50. No extra name extension, nothing. Just 0, 1, 2, 3, etc. for texturing purposes.
Thanks man!
thanks
thanks a lot it was helpfull
Thank you!
You saved my day bro!
Tnks! Very Useful!

Wow! Pretty simple techniques! Nothing can beat photoshop, but you know I found one software that can do even better. With autoRetouch, you can Export Layers faster than ever!
Thx
To the point....thanks bru!
how to export each layer onto a background color??
Thank youuuuu!!!!
I don't care if I'm 6 years late with this comment, but thanks dude! Legendary effort.
Thank you tooooo much.
For some reason when I do this "Export" is light grey and will not work or do anything. Do you know why this might be?
How do I inverse the order?
I need help, with this way it takes a lot of time to export 600 layers, any other way?
Thank you thank you thank you
LIFE SAVER!!!
thnx
Does the files go into the folder when it’s exporting or when it’s done? Trying to do 1000 layers
Does it keep the image ratio ? Or does it crop it like the quick export to png option ?
Nice
Great tutorial. Thanks.
I have a question, If I have 61 layes. And I want the first layer (logo) to be merge in all the 60 layers below, so the logo is in every layer. How can I do it instead of exporting each file.
same question have been roaming around my mind
well before you export the layers you need the logo layer to be duplicated into 60 other layers and then simply merged with each separate layers and then export them
I have the exact same question... need to save all the layers with the same logo layer on top
@@MerkurioBua yea
sorry if i'm 2 years late but i've found a script for PS that allows you to export layers with top layer as foreground
saving this way works, but my files are way too big. even if i take down the image quality. I usually export files using export > save for web...
is there a way to do bulk export layers for that?
Oh my god Thanks Lot
no layer compos to file
help
I followed the same steps. the process started. but i just got the blank images. some files came, but those were the png. image that ofcourse changed into JPG format.
Please tell me how to get PNG and JPG images differently from a Homepage PSD format.
I

IF I MASKED ALL LAYERs IN ONE SHAPE of an clip mask means what wil i do
nice
Great tutorial!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
how would i do this if i have a clipping mask for a group of layers?
so how u woudl do it with an action?
i have some mistake that i have no rightsm that file is blocked any suggestions?
I have gone through this way but in my case, after exporting all the layers in adobe photoshop it will reduce the dimensions of the pictures. How can I solve this problem is there any way to get out of this shit?
how do i do this in Gimp 2? please thanks ?
Nice :)
Is there a way to change the naming of the files? I don't wanna keep seeing all the zeroes.
How could i go about doing the reverse of this...
I've got 20 images i need layered together at random
SO HELPFUL, because when I edit 100+ photos for clients... things get a bit intense 😭
Thank you for telling me it's under Script for older generations.
i applied an effect to all layers (b&w) but when I batch export the layers the effect is not there, what should I do?
I would also like to know this
I would also like to know this.
For some reason my photoshop is not showing layers to files option......
Bad.. what if there is a curves effect on top? It's being discarded and saved as a layer
You are the person who speaks faster when explaining
it doesnt want to it says windows does not have a constructor
dont do this with multiple artboards with lots of layers in each, took a little while thought it would break my comp - I even selected the one artboard and it said nope, all or nothing.
how to keep images the same orginal name
mine is old and couldn't save :(
For some reason there is no option for PNG file type.
it's removing the adjustment layers and not applying them to the images
Mine keeps resizing after the export, any solution 😭
