Just completed this task. No not an easy one if you mis read the instructions and START your vehicle. That was the cause of the mistake in the video. Wonderful video- thank you for making this! I just jumped the gun and ended up killing my battery… lol got it jumped right up and then re read the instructions. Put in START POSITION BUT DO NOT START YOUR SUV. Hope this helps some one else 👍🏻

After I installed the remote start it works for a couple of days, then started to have electrical issues, the temperature module screen got off, the 2 set of keys does not lock or unlock the car anymore, can't lock or unlock the from the doors lock buttons and I'm sure there's more stuff to list in here, I'll have to take it to my electromechanics to take a look.

There is a green plug on top of the steering column, that is the small one. Go around and down, you will find the white plug, at least mine was white, that is the plug you want. And I am NOT talking about the HUGE white plug. I was a little confused on this too.
No you cannot, as soon as the brake is applied without the key the car will shut off. Plus the car is locked when you start the car because you have to hit the lock button 3 times.
Just installed in my 2013 Honda Pilot EXL, took 30 minutes. Now I can start the car from my kitchen. Works as advertised and worth every penny.

Thank you for showing it still unlocks while it’s running. Most systems don’t allow it unless you tap into the harness. Glad to see it works

Yesterday i installed remote starter for my rav4 2009 euro spec diesel. It was easy one ignition cable and one obd2 and program. Mine was pts not key.

The website says you need a computer to program the box, did you need to do that at any point?
No computer was needed
My Pilot wont lock using the key fob. Unlock/trunk release work fine.
Help plz.

i bought the start x and it didn't fit the green switch, there must be two different sizes, it was slightly too big and would connect

No you cannot, as soon as the brake is applied without the key the car will shut off. Plus the car is locked when you start the car because you have to hit the lock button 3 times.
I did all the steps but my Honda won't start the immobilizer won't let it.. it will crank after waiting 3 seconds but it will not start.
Try to reset the unit?
Yeah I reset the unit and got the red lights flashing I just couldn't start the vehicle. Unfortunately I think I'll just return it.

Same happened to me, I just skipped that step and it worked anyway.

If you turn with the key it'll work normally.
If you remote start it and turn it over ign while running it doesn't do anything.
