I think different degrees have different schedules and time commitments, especially science and engineering, which have more of a practical rather research element to it. UK degrees require a lot of self motivation and discipline, there's no one there to hold your hand. All the students are in the same boat/position, and its probably why everyone helps each other out., Majority of universities dont have that intense competitiveness or rivalry that you might find in asian academic culture. With the weather, you eventually become desensitive to it and you tune it out. It becomes more of an incovenience, but you are able to pretty go about doing your normal activities, unlike in some asian countries that have extremely heavy rainfall in the monsoon period. I would say the only challenge is those 2-3 weeks, where it gets very hot and the fact we generally dont have ac in homes.
Thanks for sharing all the practical details; they are very helpful and informative. Be proud of yourself, your video is a great help to those who dream of and are preparing to study in the UK
Most people are nice however coming from a metropolitan area in the states, I found myself experiencing a lot more racism against east asians than where I am from in the states. Not to say it doesn't exist in the states but it the experience for me was very offputting.
@@socjeiccn23 thank uuu 🥰 good luck in sixth form❤️ I guess I was surrounded by international people my whole life so I have the ‘international school accent’ hahahaha
