I think my issue with the TV mode isn't really the mode itself. The puzzles are fun, but having to listen to unskippable dialogue, watching story "scenes" play out on TVs, and all the moments where control is taken away from the player add up very quickly. It turns into a game of; Move a bit, watch a scene play out, complete a puzzle. There's way too much time spent waiting for animations to play in these sections, and the quick mode doesn't help too much with this. Some dialogue is important to puzzles, so using the quick mode is like shooting yourself in the foot when dialogue is playing. Its a decent mode, just not well implemented.

They're both flawed and low key autistic (Billy gets carried away with something stupid and doesn't notice danger while Anby notices it but doesn't inform anyone until the very last moment) but it makes them feel more real. Nicole is there to hold them together, they would be an absolute wreck without her leadership but while she is a great leader, she has personal issues with figuring out what kind of person she wants to be. Together they make an amazing trio that gets overlooked because "it's the first arc about free example characters"

She just doesn't feel the need to exaggerate anything or give words more impact than they have on their own. Or maybe she was born in Germany, that would explain the poker-face.
the tv mode is honestly unique & fun...but the gameplay combat are so godly satisfying I dont blame people who just wants to enter the combat instantly and start smacking enemies

If they were even longer or had more random fights of no consequence I’d probably mind, but I think it’s fine so far. Same with Area Zero. I mean, it’s either this or just a hold forward simulator like Star Rail. I like Star Rail, but a lot of the walking during trailblazer missions is just “thirty seconds of holding forward, monster battle, more holding forward” and the cutscene spam is just as bad if not worse.
But TV mode is one of the things that makes the game stand out nowadays. It even provides opportunities for fun puzzle-solving. The game'a a roguelike for a reason, considering the nature of Hollows. Why do so many people want it gone?
Why do we need to think who's the best character and team? All I need is 2 characters, parries and probably a lot of time to do anything no hit. Tbh, I unironically started to care more about not getting hit than do stuff fast, because doing it fast just needs damage so it only needs lvs and the build, doing it no hit needs skill.
