Absolutely awesome. The godfather of electronic music is back, and this time offering his superb genius to make a trance tune even better. The word "synergy" couldn't be better explained than listening to this gorgeous piece of music. Jarre + Armin is much more than two in this case. It's always an enormous pleasure to listen to new Jarre music, the composer who makes me love the electronic music since my very childhood. I was three the first time i listened Oxygène part 2, since then my musical point of view changed forever.
Thats exactly what happened to me! Listening to my mothers copy of Oxygene @ 3yrs old had me engrained into Trance, and I've never looked back. Now I'm 34.. and nothings changed :)

Many thanks to Jean-Michel, to still have the passion, the drive and the strength to produce top quality music. Although this (and also the other new collaborations) is a great leap towards modern electronic music, Jarre still manages to add his unique sound, his musical signature that his fans are so fond of. He opens to the younger generations without losing himself, his own style, so showing great for today's "star producers". I thought I'd never hear any Armin tracks, that I'd happily listen to, again. Thanks Jean-Michel, for proving me wrong! :) Jarre, from decade to decade, consistently shows why is he one of the (sadly) really few musicians who I can listen to, at any time, from my early childhood in the seventies to this very day.

I think what's interesting in all of Jarre's music is that he can do most electronic genres better than anyone else - he is the genre. Here, for instance, is a trance piece, and it's knocked out of the park, and of course by Van Buuren as well. They go very well together, and it would be very special if they made an album together.

I was a huge Jean Michel Jarre fan since 2005, when I first listened to his songs I was like: WHATTT THIS IS AWESOME. Damn, it makes me very happy seeing him in a collab with Armin van Buuren, one of the most talented DJ's in the world.
This takes me back to 1993, the Chronologie days :D If you ask me, this ought to be worked into a FULL LENGTH album, Stardust Part 1 through 8! Great job Armin and JMJ!
