U are right Kyuhyun voice is perfect, so effortless. His range vocal is the widest than other members. He is the only male idol who has 4 Octaves from 2 Kpop generation until 4 generation. He is musical actor over 10 years.
In the old version Yesung was still in the military. In the remake version it's like a ballad like version and Yesung sang with them and Kangin and Sungmin are not there anymore but us ELFs still consider them as part of Super Junior
When they released old version, Yesung served in military, so could not join in. Anyway, its all over now. Thank you for your reaction video even covering old version.

In fact, for 15th anniversary, ELFs voted what songs do we hope Suju sing again, and this song won the first, so they decided to remake. What a good choice😉
Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung are SuJu vocal line. Yesung the main vocalist was not in the original song so the main vocals in this song goes to Kyuhyun and Ryeowook in both version. You can hear they vocal harmony in Super Junior unit called Super Junior KRY. Its the vocal line unit of Suju. Donghae and Eunhyuk also have a dance unit called Super Junior D&E. Thank you
Yeah, I have reacted to both of those units before. It's just that I am really bad and slow with faces, so when they are all together in Super Junior itself I have a hard time seeing who is who - other than maybe Shindong and at times I definitely see the KRY members haha.

About "Raining spell for love" it was selected based on fan vote with 71.1%. The results of the ratings have been revealed in a special Show called [명화들의 전쟁] "Famous Painting Battle". If you are interested you can see it on VLive "SM channel", it’s so funny. Suju worked really hard on this year and gifted the fans many great things. Thank you for reaction 💙

The original one actually only consists of Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Sungmin, Donghae, Eunhyuk and Kangin vocally (as stated on the album, the other member didn't participate in the song). On their 15th anniversary ELF voted this song to be their remake song. Both versions are perfect to me. The original feels more raw emotionally, like the way Eunhyuk raps with the synth in the background (as if it's their "younger selves" way to express the meaning of the lyrics), and I personally like the instruments, with the synth and beautiful flute. The remake ver. Ofc vocally better because there's KRY and more members to add more vocal colors to the song, and they sang it more mature and laid back, with more mature/modern arrangements as well, kinda reflects on their growth over the years. When I feel more emotional I'll go and listen to the original ver, and when I'm feeling chill I'll go listen to the remake 😊 This song is probably my fave Bside of Suju. MAMACITA is an awesome album. You should listen to other song in the album and enjoy more of Suju's versatility. Thanks for the reaction!
That's a good way of explaining it. The old version is an emotional song while the new, remade version is more chill. Also thanks for explaining more about how this came to be - so the fans voted this to be the Remake song! What were other choices if I may ask?

My guess is because we wanted to hear it with more members, and because we never get to see them performing this song, not even in Super Show. The other top 3 that comes close to this song was "U", "Believe", and "Evanesce". Again, you should listen to MAMACITA album as a whole. And if you want to make a reaction video of one of the songs, I recommend the "Midnight Blues" live from Super Show 6 :)

I don't know much what change, only that the remake has a brighter vibe. Just found this out and thank you... in the old version which was Mamacita album, Yesung was in his military service so, he couldn't join for that album. And for Raining Spell For Love (original one) there was Leeteuk, Heechul, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun. But in that original version, Shindong, Siwon, Heechul (also Yesung ofc) sadly didn't the solo part to sing.. just included in the chorus; which was Harmony. In the original version.. it feels like... this song made for Kangin & Sungmin (proved that they have so many lines there); I'm happy. In the remake version.. no Kangin & Sungmin.. I'm a bit sad. But, also happy that I can hear Siwon's, Shindong's, Heechul's and Yesung's voices as a change

Excuse me but why is Donghae "the second part" of D&E? It's a duet. There isn't first or second member. Both of them are important.
