He doesn't even have a party meter to get meter faster off of shared kills and his meter screws up your visuals and makes it harder to play for no reason. He's not that good.
@@drybonez6402 The Cricket star got Nerfed a lot, but not enough to make him unplayable. I play him a lot and he is still good. I know Long Bomb got nerfed but you can still use it, it can do some serious damage if done properly.
Computer scientist used to have 9 ammo instead of 7 also his reload speed was 0.8 second but was changed to 0.9 computer scientist his meter multiplier was 1.5 meaning that he dealt 75 damage with his meter literally 2 shotting corns and 1 shotting vampire flower which only had 75 hp and if hit perfectly dealt 81 damage meaning he can take out a torchwood with only 4 hits and his dps computer scientist was so op back then That I am happy that I maxed him out when he was first released

I may not know what shark bite’s gimmick, but he feels really fun. Sky trooper feels really good when you melt a cactus after rocket leaping over there.
Personally I believe that the overheat upgrades work on cricket star because the longer you can shoot your cricket blaster by definition of cricket starts gimmick you will be doing more damage than if you didn’t have them
And cricket star doesn’t have a reliable damage output so all those overheat techs are still useful their just not as helpful as with other overheat characters so the longer you can shoot your gun the better
As a painter main this is pretty accurate. Also: no, i got torchwood and hovergoat with that damn gnome minigames thing, i don't play neither of them 🤡

Ive got one thing to say against that quote about tank commander. This can generally be true, if you're not experienced with him, and this drives many players to scuba soldier. But if you KNOW how to use him, you can pretty much wipe out a WHOLE group of plants with his primary, and since it reloads faster than ZPG you can basically become a bloody artillery cannon that can 1-shot anything that so much as DARES to look at you. You just have to learn how to time the reload when fighting a 1v1, and you also need to have precision aim which you could train up with camo ranger, cactus deadbeard etc. Making Camo Ranger actually not useless at all. Meaning if you learn the primary and know how to use it properly, instead of going ahead sniffing glue and mashing the fire button, you can actually become a lethal killing MACHINE.

Yeah, this doesn't make any sense. Tank isn't difficult to aim with or use at all, only gotta land singular massive rocket projectiles with a bit over a second to aim each one. His ceiling is incredibly low too, he isn't gonna shred through a whole lot of anything let alone a group even landing every rocket, just doesn't have the damage output, or the range, or the quick kill times on anything other than the 125 classes. He still isn't abysmal, doing large bursts of damage lets you abuse peeking in and out of cover to net some pretty safe damage and kills, but that's about all there is to it. Scuba isn't much better off and is more of a sidegrade for the record, though technically has a higher ceiling and a bit more room for skill expression for what it's worth. You could say his increased splash makes him more noob friendly but realistically if you aren't landing directs you aren't accomplishing much all the same.
