Correct. Vivo has had the best camera for years. The 100x pro also. Then x100 ultra which even has a better sensor than the x200 pro. Boredatwork just trying to make excuses. Saying the x100 pro was meh but cool see u next year is complete bs lol. They should watch some other reviewers and learn lol
I totally agree, the x100 pro is even better than most of the flagship today in terms of photos. The x100 ultra (unfortunately not global) is better/on par with the x200 pro in terms of camera. Apart from the stellar combo 6000 mAh/ dimensity 9400 The x100 u is better in many ways
Guess Saf also skipped the x100 ultra? It is even better than the x200 pro. Just imagine what the x200 ultra will be like. U always skipped the best phone cameras and then review others like they dont exist😂 Vivo has had the best camera in the mobile phone world for years and years and u did not even notice 😅 Its funny to hear boredatwork trying to make excuses but the x100 pro already had the best camera so saying "cool see u next year" is bs lol. They should watch some other reviewers and learn lol
Regarding the availability of AI, consider the reverse scenario. What if the U.S. government suddenly instructed Google to block all Chinese phones from accessing Gemini or other generative AI tools, citing security concerns, and pressured EU nations to follow suit? This could explain why they’re taking a more cautious approach. However, trust me-when they launch their in-house solution, it will likely feature some of the most refined generative AI capabilities. They’re making significant investments in AI technologies. If you visit China, you’ll see how advanced they are; they’re incorporating AI into nearly every aspect of daily life.
Thanks for covering this phone but wrong, the x100 pro was as bit as impressive as this last year and the x100 u is even better or as good as the x200 pro.
For serious photographers, perspective is key, and that is a function of zoom and distance. This has always been trivial with my big Canons and 'L' lenses. Phones, however, with their comparatively small sensors are a different kettle of fish. The S24U has a larger main (x1) sensor than the Vivo and is the better camera from x1 - x3.6. From x3.7 to x5, the vivo is larger and will provide more detail. In practical terms, from x5-x9 their outputs will be similar. Beyond x9, the Vivo camera will be better. So, which is better for any photographer depends on what he or she shoots. Most of my shooting is in the x1-x3.5 range with some work in the x5-x7 range. So, the S24U is the better choice for me.
Lol Vivo's main camera beats the s out of s24 ultra no contest whatsoever and telephoto is in a league of its own go first use it atleast once and then see the difference! Not to mention even as aphone vivo is way more snappy and fluid
@Eihei I'm afraid you're mistaken. You seem to have confused the old video tube convention (curiously still termed 'sensor size') for the actual physical area of the sensor. To get the actual area of the sensor, you need to multiply the square of pixel size by number of pixels. The main sensor of the Vivo X200 pro has 50 million 1.22-micron pixels. Therefore, 50 million x1.22x1.22 gives an actual sensor area of 74mm². For the Samsung S24 Ultra, the main sensor has 200million 0.64-micron pixels. Its actual sensor area is therefore 200million x0.64x0.64 or 82mm². Clearly, as I stated in my earlier post, the main sensor of the Samsung S24 Ultra (82 mm²) is physically bigger than the main sensor of the Vivo X200 pro (74mm)
@@okeyezeilo6187 sorry friend, but you are mistaken. S24 Ultra's main sensor is 1/1.3" and X200 Pro 1/1.28". It appears you somehow misread somewhere that S24 Ultra sensor has 0.64um pixel size which is incorrect, it's 0.6um. By the way because it has higher megapixel count it has to do 16in1 binning to get normal sized photo, which often still results in more artifacts than cameras with lower megapixel count. Funny thing is that if you do some research, the smartphone cameras with the best texture on photos are the ones with lowest megapixel count, but most importantly the ones that have overall bigger sensor. That's why the only smartphone cameras that can actually pull out "lossless" 2x crop zoom are the ones with 1" sensor.
X100 pro already beat S24 ultra fair & square, X200 pro is just flex, it is not vivo's fault that you all western youtubers took notice now. Vivo is killing it since past few years in terms of camera.
