    About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

I've always loved Corbin Bernsen's reaction when he found out the cat died, it's like he was barely paying attention to George but that part made the story interesting, even telling George that he killed the cat was the only thing he added to the conversation.

Nowhere close to the most sociopathic thing George has done. Lol. He pretended to have a disability, knocked women and children over to escape a kitchen fire, tried cheating on Susan (with Marisa Tomei) before unintentionally poisoning her with tainted envelopes, and enlisted Elaine to poison his boss because his boss wouldn't let him use the executive bathroom. 😂

Glad they finally uploaded this scene. These are always the funniest George moments. Waiting for them to upload the scene with the raisins and the Kramer actor. That's my favorite George moment in the series, outside the Ted Danson stuff and pitching the show to the NBC executives. George season 3-4 seasons was awesome, the best character on the show. Later on he still great, but too cartoonish. The show then became Kramer's.

One of the underrated quirks of seinfeld: one of them commits some offense or does some trauma to somebody and then the debate is over whether they should have to pay the victim off, like blood money or something. If you kill my cat i'm not going to be assuaged by you giving me money to buy a new cat, even if you offer without being a dick about it. You can't just swap in some other cat for my cat and resolve the situation. It's like we're in an episode of the sopranos and somebody beat up somebody a made man vaguely cares about and so there's an argument about how much they should have to pay for his hospital bills. Why do they need to care about house pets? The premise of the show is they mostly just care about themselves anyway. So why would animals be any different? For them, animals are annoying, stink up your apartment, you have to feed them, walk them, clean after them.. why would they bother?

In fairness, whenever a person mentions buying a replacement pet, I always think to myself, well how much could you have loved the thing in the first place if you're just gonna replace it with another. That's not a friend or a loving honourary family member, that's an accessory.

Who, or what exactly is Corbin Bernsen? I sort of recognize the name, but I'm not sure where he's from. Was he like on something like the GoGo Magic Banana Variety Power Hour or The Gong Show, back in the '70s/early '80s? If not, why would his comments matter?

I just googled "how long does it take a cat to starve to death" so now i'm on an fbi watchlist somewhere, thanks, guys, and the answer is
"It usually takes about one to two weeks for a cat to die if it stops eating if they have a water supply. However, it may be more like three to four days without protein, even if they have enough water."
