Love these videos, thanks! Also, great work all around. Maybe in the future you could consider filming/photographing the labels as well to give the (former) students the credit they deserve.
Appreciate the feedback @MACHIN3, and glad to hear you're enjoying the videos! Full credit is given to all students (current and former) in my massive image gallery. You'll find far more detail on all the projects there ;) Thanks for your support!
Currently I am an aspiring armature at best with transportation design. I have a few years left in the Navy but I want to hone in on some skills like rendering, shading, etc. I will apply for CCS in my final year in the Navy. But I am worried about my portfolio and strengthening what it is at right now. Do you have any advice or suggestions on what I can do
I would encourage you to work on your portfolio every day. Sketch what comes naturally to you -- people, ships, fashion. Cars are just a product, the key is to develop your own style. That's what people want to see. Be creative and unique. You'll have plenty of time to learn the technical tools later. Check out what others are doing, get up to speed on the latest trends, and draw things that will make you stand out from the herd. Good luck to you!
stefndogg aw was one of the models yours? Its ok, don't cry. Criticism is the biggest part of design, you're clearly not ready for it. When I was a student, if my work was as poor as this, I would fail the class.
Hammond Think Nope, I don't go there and Im not a student. Labeling all of the work in this video as "sad copy cats" and "zero creativity" is hardly constructive criticism. Ive given and received plenty of reality check hard to hear crit before, but saying all of these students work is totally derivative and without creativity is just mean. Im sure you wouldn't say that in person.
stefndogg the fact that your standard is below zero and you have never worked as a professional designer...ever, shows you have no understanding of what is considered hirable.

Oh fantastic, thanks!
the Acura form is great
The music fits Pretty well to the ideas that these designers have, you know,
Cold and repetitive electronic noises whitout any melody.
Can you elaborate please.
Yeah, on the other hand they make new original music with their talent.
Is that bold guy at 3:38 Ralph Gilles?? :D :D
Yes it is. A lot of people from the industry came around to the show. It's a great way to scope out upcoming talent

Some cars looks like a moon-rovers)
Gotta let the (former) students have some fun.
Art center tops this easily, still cool tho
Катастрофа какае та!
But can they design a cool motorcycle
Still amazing though
Horrible. Sad copy cats, ultra conservative zero creativity. Just nonsense form salads...
Hammond Think why?
Hammond Think ...And im sure all of your work as a student was super creative and game changing. Easy to hide behind that keyboard
