My son was kIA in Afghanistan trying to save three Navy SEALs. He was a Hero. He is NOT a loser or a sucker.

I am the grandson of a WW2 and Korean War Veteran and the nephew of a Vietnam Veteran and my father was a National Guardsman. They instilled in me to RESPECT our Constitution, to RESPECT and HELP our fellow Americans, regardless of our differences and to always, ALWAYS honor and respect our Veterans.
I signed up at 18 to join but was denied due to a degenerative spinal disease. That was always my dream, to serve my country like my grandfather, uncle and father. Unfortunately, a legitimate medical issue prevented me from serving. It was the most disappointing moment of my life. But I've found ways to still serve my country from within as a citizen, by standing up against and speaking out against those who would destroy this country and by VOTING for the right person to run our country, a person who RESPECTS and HONORS our country, our veterans, our military and our Constitutional values and ideals.

As an American, I apologize to each of you for the way trump treated you. I did not vote for him at either election and actually changed my political affiliation in 2018 from Republican to Democrat because I was genuinely embarrassed to be associated with the tyranny trump displayed. I’ve never really voted strictly Republican, in fact have gone back and forth after learning about candidates. I do tend to lean to the left, especially now, because of trump.
Every single American should be thanking all of you as well as present and former military. Each of you brought tears to my eyes as I listened to your excerpt. I come from a family of veterans who served from the Korean War through the wars in the Middle East I served twenty plus years, three of my brothers are gone my throat tightens eveytime I hear taps played. I took the oath of allegiance years ago and I stand by it today. Trump should thank God that he has veterans and military men and women protecting people like him. God bless America.

Thank you all for your service. I was proud my husband enlisted during Viet Nam. You all are continuing to serve our country by calling Trump out for his horrible statements about those who serve in the military. I generally vote for the Democratic candidate because I am a nurse who trained at a 3000 bed county hospital and saw first hand those struggling in life through no real fault of their own. I saw what courage looked like first and also saw those in government who empathized with these beautiful souls.
I would have voted for McCain though because he was a great person filled with compassion and respect for others. Palin as VP was deal breaker for me. She was not really his choice but she was never the less on the ticket. My best me,ory of him is his use of his thumb in Trump trying to take away healthcare that would destroy so many people and families. You all continue to be brave in continuing to speak the truth.!

I was a weapon engineer working the installation and testing of CIWS the last missile defense system on the air force carrier USS Kitty Hawk at the PNSY. I was a civilian doing this but worked with many military officers and sailors and have high respect for them. I am a black woman and they respected my knowledge because they knew I was working and testing the last missile defense for the ship and offered accepted knowledge how to best sync guns radar with the ship and quick fixes to make it work. I LUV the military because I never felt discriminated or my expertise questioned. Thanks
