You should take the agate scrap and do a resin project with the translucent pieces and make a lamp!

Those prairie agates are wonderful! I know how strange they are and you just can't tell what you will find, but they are such amazing agates! And good luck with the fairburn hunt! They are so rare that it's so hard to find one! But I wish you great luck on future hunts! But the agates you found were amazing! And your show is quickly coming up! Good luck at your show and I know you will do so well! You are amazing and I'm sure the meet and greet will be packed! So many people want to meet you! You are awesome! Thanks Theo, for the wonderful look at prairie agates!

I love The Prairie! ♡ We have a spot here that is locally called, The Badlands. People like to 4x and dirt bike there. Its one of my favorite places to rock hunt! ♡

Hi there Theo Kellison, cool video and awesome finds. Can you please define a Fairburn Agate, is it a color and banding combo? Or is it more a location? Thank you for taking us along on your hunt.

I think the smaller (seam) agates would make beautiful dangle earrings, slabbed thin and just polished with silver hooks. I don't ever see any, only rings and pendants.

Jaspers and Agates are all chalcedony. Jasper is opaque to somewhat translucent. Agate, in lapidary terms, is supposed to mean banded, translucent chalcedony, but with lapidary terms, people can kinda call stuff whatever they want. I just use agate to mean any translucent chalcedony, it's easier to say. Mineralogical terms can overlap with lapidary terms, which is where a lot of confusion happens.

I hunt the Fraser river up in British Columbia Canada, find a lot of different types of agates jasper petrified wood, never any really large specimens of pure agate larger than say hard baseball just wondering why spit balling ideas. I think river to violent. “Agate” clear and or with banding/translucent lol

I thought Alexis would have gotten the heart shaped ❤ iris agate. That would have been my pick. Although hers probably has the best 🌈.
